MCM were.talking about the auction lots in Japan and apparently due to lack of parking some people find it worth it to park their cars at auctions with a minimum that says they don't want to sell they are just holding it there. 55:51--that is a red lancia delta HF integrale EVO. Just like the evo 190E Mercedes it was a homologation street car for the rally WRC racing series. It's AWD. Turbo 4 cylinder engine. 207hp 0-60 in 6.4 seconds. they sell for $40,000 to $90,000 according to bring a trailer website. The 1991 was the evo 1 with a larger turbo. The evo 2 came out in 1993 it had slightly more power and 16 inch wheels. But looked mostly the same as a evo 1.

Here's my take on rust @28:00 If that area is the ONLY rust... and the rest of the shell is cherry, it's a go. Are those body on frame? If they are, even moreso OK. If not, still OK because it's a "jeep" bodystyle (meaning someone will be willing to hack off that whole area to add flares anyways!)

The Lancia Delta Integrale is what you saw..literally an outlawed Gruppe B rally racer and extremely, extremely rare. I agree with the tech newer cars at a great price, but the cost of making them LHD & federalizing them, was and is cost-prohibative. Plus, that’s WHY they’re cheaper🤔the slugs on the schoolbus look Miyazaki!!!❤

At 40:05 that’s not a Renault, it’s a Toyota WiLL VI. It’s supposed to be a “lifestyle” car that was aimed at young people and there are other things you could buy under the WiLL brand name like beer, washing machines, refrigerators, bicycles, air fresheners, candy, and all sorts of junk. Should be import legal to the US later this year. To be fair, the funky rear window styling does sort of look like a Renault Avantime.

51:42--- OH MAN!! That is a 1991 black mercedes 190E 2.5-16 evolution 2. Eather thats a regular 190E turned into a replica evo 2 or if its the real deal they only made 500 of these! The real deal sells from $180,000 (probably worn out) to $544,000 for a mint version. They made these mercedes as a homologation model ( racing rules state you hafta make so many street versions to be able to race this car) for the german touring car racing series. (called DTM series) this car should have the 2.5 liter four valve cosworth cylinder head 4 cylinder engine. The altimate version of this engine made 232hp. This german rocket is in the grand turismo 5 and 6 video game. That one doesn't have the orginal wheels bolted on it. Theres you tube video of these cars racing in the DTM series in germany.

Have you done a video on the complete process of buying a car in japan, finding someone to ship it, how the car gets from the auction to the shipping container or put on a boat and does the the boat go thru the Panama canal to get to where ever you pick up the car and the process of going thru customs picking up the car. I think it would be a interesting video if you haven't done that yet.

Perhaps, one segment of you and the guys in the buying (inspecting, rating and passing your list the the bidding staff). Segment two, perhaps, showing cool Kei's that are not often seen! Then Segment three, perhaps, could be the future Kei's! Things that are not import legal yet/newer stuff, the future of Kei's! What they have today in Japan, 'new car features/tech' that we see in the U.S. vehicles currently. All just suggestions, Your channel, as you see it! I just want to support Kei content, I have a Kei and enjoy the info, the different perspectives and the people! Hope all this gives you ideas for future content! All the best!!!
