BUYING MY 2020 KTM 450 FACTORY EDITION!

Just picked up my new 2020 KTM 450 Factory Edition from Barnes Bros Motorcycles and Off Road in Canonsburg, PA. These bikes are incredible off the showroom floor, but I do a few things to the bike right away to better suit it to my needs and preferences. Check out the couple things I do right away to make a few small changes in this already amazing bike!

You should have tightened the stem nut before tightening the top triple clamp bolts. Nice bike man 👍🏼

I run a Scotts Dampner. On my FactoryEdition, it maybe cheating but it works extremely well for me, especially at high speeds!!

Nice! I remove the o-ring between the top clamp and bearing collar to bring a little more of a firm feel to the front end. Probably not recommended, but I keep up on bearings and grease regularly.

Awesome! I just take off the plastics when I buy the bikes then put them back on when I'm ready to sell.

The AER48 forks are really good. I just prefer the plushness and progressiveness of the cone valve

Neither cause you can buy any other Jap bike for literally 1/2 the price. KTM makes a crazy looking bike but I would rather buy a bike every 2-3 years for $7k than spend like 12k on a ktm.

Do you do races on the 125? Or is it just a bike to have fun on? Love the ktm 125s way more fun then riding 450s in my opinion.

Alexandra Kingi I haven’t raced the 125 yet but I’m sure I will at some point. It’s just a fun bike for now. Definitely one of the most fun bikes I’ve ever owned!

WJ Bought my first KTM after many many years of being Suzuki guy just for the button as my 50 year old legs don’t feel like kicking over a 450 any more, so sad the clock is mean to us all. Loving the KTM

@@warrenjohnson8085 Hey warren, I dont know if you remember me. Raced pro for quite awile in california. I am 54, but one year after a stroke, both knees gone with the wind, one replaced still not great the other was fine two years ago now, acl gone. Broken back twice. Funny thing, until I turned 51 I was like a rock. Kinda sucks. But yea, If I boght a bike today it would be a ktm. Put some springs on and rip!

I don't think Yamaha blue is prettier than anything, it suck! One reason I don't buy a Yamaha. Honda has the best colors but no 2 stroke .
