This is the most relateable trucking channel to me, i drive artic tippers and diggers in rural ireland, so i have no interest in box bodies delivering to tesco on a motorway... i like when trucks are worked hard by skilled drivers on bad roads

That’s what you do. Keep fighting and grind it out. I’ve managed to go from 1 truck to 13 in 8 years. Plenty of big risks taken, plenty of sleepless nights but worth it at the end. £300 a month won’t cause an issue💪

Sell that trailer and get the trailer that you really want as long as the work is there for the newer trailer and that will help to pay the finance off. I would probably go for the monthly payments of £300 a month if that's what you are thinking of doing that could be the better option really, and have a good cash flow instead. behing honest after working in the industry for a fair few years now and having my fair share of drilling saf axle nuts, the first thing id have asked were "is it on saf's" and is the answer was yes id walk away. you may be desperate now but dont let being desperate make you impulse buy things you may regret later. id have held out for a BPW axled trailer as from the start you said thats what you wanted

I ran into difficulty back in 2000 with the foot and mouth eccademic. That fucked my business. I lost everything including my house. I'm still here to tell the tail. Things have worked out okay but I'm not very well off.

Hats off to you chap...... A grafter will never fail....may just have to make afew adjustments along way. Well I was looking for a plant trailer mid last year. Prices were high, I got a 2018 king with winch, and was a self drive Owenr. Last month I saw one same spec go for 9k less.... The arss has dropped the prices on these now. But as I see it, if the work is pending for it and that could lead to more.... Id would go with high deposit..... And like you say....if goes tits up, you have assets. Not big bank loan and nothing to show.

Should look at a 3 axle with a lift or a steer. The extra weight of a 4 axle ads a lot of extra fuel and lost payload.
