Please provided them with fresh fruits, vegetables, pellets, and some seeds. They need natural wood perches. That cage is entirely too small. They need a flight cage and time out of the cage. They can’t be around candles, febreeze, oven cleaners, and many household cleaning products. That new cage is tall but they need something wider. They fly from side to side not up and down.

Thank you for the information. I’ve done a lot of research and have definitely done all of the above. As you mentioned now as for their cage, they are still very small and they are fine. Their vet told me that they would be fine in this cage for now temporarily until I can afford to buy a larger cage, if you would like, I can make an Amazon wish list and you can support my little bird babies. question, what if they aren't tamed yet? then how am i supposed to get them out their cage if they wont come to me or wont go back in?

Make sure you change those plastic food and treat holders to metal ones because plastic can make them sick

Another tip-I know this was almost a year ago-is that when bringing birds home, don't just immediately put them in the cage. If you have other animals, close the door and let the bird explore the room a little. It's important for them as well because they really don't have a clue where they are. It gives them time to adjust to their new home. In the first few days, touching should be kept to a minimum so you don't overwhelm the birds. Another thing I gotta mention, please do NOT pet them on their wings, back, or tail. I see a lot of new bird owners make this mistake and it can make your bird really confused and frustrated. Speaking of which, there are a few body language signs that your bird will give you if they start to get agitated or anxious - Fluffed up/poofy feathers - Open beak - Fanning out tail - Dilating or expanding pupils quickly can indicate excitement or nervousness in birds

The green is a boy and the blue is a girl check on the beak part to find the gender of the budgie parrots.

You need a flight cage wider not taller. Budgies fly across not upwards. Tall cages are not good for budgies. Glad you going to change perches. That aside you guys love those little birdies.😚😚😚.

Please do your research because if your feeding them millet when their not being trained or tamed,it’s not good for them,you should only use it while training them or only use it once a month/year,and also,to keep them from pooping onto the bottom of the cage,just put paper over the bottom and change it every few days!and don’t use those smooth dowel perches,it hurts their feet,if you don’t wanna throw out the perches,take a knife and shave it to give it texture!

Way too small of a cage they need natural perches,toys,fruits and veggies, and time out of the cage to socialize also millet should only be used as a rare treat

Please no do a lot more research birds are flying toddlers and your sweet baby’s are not in good care now please upgrade there cage food toys and perches!!!!!!!!!
