@Pretty Pastel Please You need to know that: For goods with a value of AUD1000 or less, there are generally no duties, taxes or charges to pay at the border. However, From 1 July 2018, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) may be collected by overseas vendors of such low value goods when imported from overseas by consumers in Australia Goods with a value of over AUD1000 To import goods with a value over AUD1000, you need to lodge an Import Declaration. The Import Declaration provides information about the goods you are importing. There is a processing charge for making an Import Declaration. You will also be required to pay the duty and taxes for your goods. You may use the services of a licensed customs broker to help you import your goods.

Also, just split the order. Order half one week and have delivered to your own address, under $1,000 value , then order a week later for the next lot, and have sent to a different address. As long as the order is not all sent out at the same time, and there is a gap in between, then no duties are payable. $800 seems to be an awful lot of duty for items costing around $4,000 .

Meg, don't let your dark inner self get the best of you. You ARE important. You DO matter. You ARE loved. You ARE NOT a burden. You ARE someone's whole world. It is okay to not be okay. If you need help, Don't be embarrassed or afraid to ask for it. You can't be pulled out of the water if you don't reach your hand out for help. If you need to, call the suicide hotline in your area. Just open up and talk to them or a close friend or family member. I hope things get better for you soon sweetie. Sending awkward, gentle hugs from a fellow depression club member.

They are basically just costume jewelry with a ridiculous prize tag. I saw a lady here on KZbin who HD to bring in her Chanel earrings multiple times because the little fake pearls kept falling out and they keep doing it still. Bullying is the reason I hate brown LV bags and basically everything with the brown LV in it. The group of girls that where the harshest and most brutal with the way they bullied me had those bags (probably fake), so my brain automatically goes "ALTERT - TACKY - BITCHY - DON'T ENGAGE". It's nothing against the brand and nothing against people carrying those bags, it's just a warning system engraved into my mind.

Alex, I'd watch anything that you post. I watch your channel for YOU, your personality, humor and openness (and the birb of course). So I really don't mind what content you post. That being said, I get that you're worried about posting content centered on luxury items. It's not something I'm usually interested in or could ever afford and I think lots of other viewers relate to that. However, a good way to possibly compensate for it is to throw in some more thrifting videos as well (and possibly also DIY?) Your Christmas thrifting vlogs/hauls were some of my favorite videos you ever made. Think of it this way: your luxury items videos will probably attract lots of new videos while your long-time subscribers will adore your thrifting/DIY vids. Once it's possible again, traveling vlogs will probably speak to many different audiences and eventually, all of these videos will make cleanout videos possible (necessary) as well HAHAHA. A little bit of everything will make sure you don't alienate your audience and the variety will (hopefully) keep it fun for you as well :)

Can you please do a video with one of your plus size or mid size friends on some fun shoes for people with bigger calves? Because Lamoda, Koi and places like that don't accommodate for people who have calves from, like, 14 inches and bigger. It's so frustrating

I work for a company right now that is a bit like Amazon for a bunch of plus size brands and let me tell you as soon as it gets a bit colder our customers go crazy over the new extra wide boots. We have a wide range of them all in one place and we get a bunch of emails about them too. They are also available in wider sizes as in for wider feet and we have a selection for unusual shoe sizes too. I'm skinny myself but I'm always so happy when I get a happy email from someone who finally found something without any issues because on our site basically everything is just made for them or people like them. We are based in Germany and don't sell outside of Germany yet but I'm sure you can find the boots and stuff on other sites just more scattered.

Ahh this is so helpful. I've been looking at Chanel and Dior blazers, dresses and bags on The Realreal and the prices aren't great on everything.. and sometimes the quality is really bad. I got a dress with a separated zipper and they wanted me to foot the bill for shipping it. They also sent me Prada shoes with toe gunk in them. ugh. So yeah.. perfect timing on your video! ❤❤❤

@meganb12823 жыл бұрын
@@Coffeegirl739 apparently not. I got 2 separate pairs of shoes that were absolutely caked in black gooey toe funk. I was so disgusted. At least wipe them out! I won't buy shoes from them anymore, but have purchased other clothing. It's hit and miss on quality. They don't always disclose flaws.

The realreal is known for selling fakes ironically
@meganb12823 жыл бұрын
@@elouisebell613 that's the same for any site like that. Fashionphile, Rebag, thredup and others. I have all my high-end stuff authenticated if it feels or looks off. Now I'd never buy off thredup. They are the literal worst at authentication. I am in a few groups and I've seen dozens of posts about getting obvious replicas. They sent me a fake dolce & Gabbana bag a couple years ago and I'm still not over it.
@em84c3 жыл бұрын
@@meganb1282 I've even heard of it happening at department stores. Bad people will buy an authentic bag and return a fake bag and sometimes the store doesn't notice. And then sells the fake bag to a new customer.

I completely understand how you feel. I was in a bad marriage which I didn’t realize it was until looking back. At the time I was devastated and living in at my ex-in-laws, sleeping on the floor while my husband, at the time, chased after another woman. I was at completely rock bottom. Now I almost have my credit built up to buy my own home. I’m so very proud of myself and how far I’ve come in the last 5 years. I’ve watched you and your channel change and grow over the last few years. And I’m just as proud of you for all of the great things you do!! Keep inspiring people!!

01:14:30 Tiny little flaw in your line of argumentation: You got the earrings „cheap“ because they are damaged. So it does not mean that they will never break, because they are expensive Designer jewellery. Let’s be honest, these things are expensive because you pay for the brand name. Not more, not less.

I am very heavily pregnant but 6 years ago around this time, I was sectioned for mental health, and if I am completely honest I didnt think I'd be alive to see my next birthday. Now I look back, I own my first house with my loving partner, I have our family dog and cat and I have 10 weeks till I meet my sprog. I wrote a letter to myself for my last therapist session and we ripped it up crumpled it, then put it back together and framed it. Now it's a proudly hung up in my living room for everyone to see/read. Thank you for being so... honest in this video! 💕
