It seems more like negligence and improper maintenance by the previous owner, instead of Yanmar design flaw, given how out of adjustment the blade lever was, and how bolts were welded on the frame in his Yanmar repair video kzbin.info/www/bejne/jX2tmnVjl9CMg7M. I think this video and the other dedicated Yanmar repair videos are the only Yanmar repair videos on his channel, compared to his Bobcat that contributed a lot of repair videos

Keep your eyes open for buckets on Craigslist for the kubota. I see them all the time with the kubota designed quick attach in my area. Nice find on that kubota too. Great machine. I own one like it a few years newer but I’ve never had any problems with mine so far and love it. Great speed to size and also power to size machine. Yanmar is also great machine. But the kubota will serve you well well worth even rebuilding motor and a new pump if ever needed. Still way ahead. The best thing you would like to have for that kubota is a 3’ smooth edge bucket. I use it most and enjoy having it around. I don’t dig with it but loading and grading it is well worth having. Thanks for the videos Andrew.

The true measure of a video channel is possibly when the viewer, whose life bears little or no relationship to the content they are viewing, find themselves watching forty minutes and more a day of video on a subject as niche as making quick release bucket attachments, delivered by one man and his dog. Love the use of music during the sped-up sequences. Makes it much nicer. I have never owned a breaker, although I know what it is like to jackhammer rock with a hand-held jackhammer. It wears you out, and is slower than those excavator-mounted breakers. I have only previously watched giant excavators with giant breakers working on hard bedrock. All rock is different, so I know that I cannot translate this performance to my rock, but I get a rough idea. This is helpful.

Hi Andrew, I had a problem with my blade not picking up the machine, the blade would also slowly drop down as I tracked. It was the seals in the "Live Swivel ." The Live Swivel transfers hydraulic pressure from the "house" (upper part of excavator) to the lower portion to drive the tracks and blade, and in the case of my Bobcat 322 the expandable tracks. The Live Swivel seals will leak off pressure to other accessories when they go bad. The Live Swivel is in the middle of the house where it rotates. I removed it, rebuilt it, and now the blade lifts the machine fine and the blade does not leak down when tracking. Hope this helps diagnose your issue if it is related.

Nice! Those were both good finds. I never thought about hammering a stump. I'll have to remember that. I like how you don't hesitate to tackle anything, So many guys don't know where to start in replacing a hose or adjusting a valve link. You must have farmer roots :) DIY is the only way to be highly successful in an Owner/Op. We enjoy watching you work.

This guy buys excavators like most people buy used cars. All I have is a little backhoe attachment for my bobcat. Way to go Andy!

This is the first of your videos I’ve seen and I really enjoyed it. I’m sure you know this but just in case, make sure you grease the hammer point really really well every time you use it. Hold the point in towards the body and grease until it purges (otherwise it will push the point out with grease and then when you activate the hammer it will blast grease everywhere). You have a new subscriber. Thanks for the upload

looking to buy a Kubota or Yanmar next week. Thanks for your input you gave e on a previous video. Looks like the Kobelco with the Yanmar engine is the one I will likely get, with 4600 hrs Love Kubota though, I have a 2013 B3000 with heated/A/C cab and a front snow blower and it's bullet proof.

@@thedancingpickle6362 I do just find it funny he said that. Also I commented a year ago I would prefer no responses.
