@@bigsid1984 Yea I know but he doesn't agree with that. If you are smart about it I would bail out too but you are correct. The roll cage was designed to make the seat the safest spot for light rollovers like that. Now if it was about to go down a 1500 foot long hill? Id definitely bail every time.

I like how Chief Inspector Levi is on Christmas vacation with all his seniority and he sent out his junior inspector Cody to supervise the delivery! Wow, I love all the scenery views you always do at the end. Those white trees are absolutely breathtaking. Cooped up inside, I look out my window and see one house across the street and one tree.

A tip when using a “pecker” dont put all of the machines weight on it like that, find the sweet spot with just the smallest amount of pressure that will allow the point to bounce for max effect.

its a common technique on equipment to be ready to bail when things start getting sideways, that is, if you're smart enough and don't wish to die.

@@gh3tt0gangst3r2 On older equipment, sure, especially if there's no ROPS. Most manufacturers have tested ROPS that can support the entire weight of the machine on top of it. Most of the time anymore it's better to stay buckled in and go for the ride.

If you watched his video about every vehicle he has owned, you would know that he is ready for anything, and has the videos to prove it. when operating heavy equiptment, I was always in dangerous situations, and ready for it. I used to joke with the people I employed that I will do the dig, because you have kid's. You just know the equipment after awhile.

Tilling's Excavation It was a flow test. He didn't say 12 PSI, he said 12 gallons per minute. If you been doing this for a while, you should know hydraulic attachments depend on flow rate to operate. Good dealer will ask that before he sells.

I have always worn a lap belt on my equipment. Went down with the ship a few times. When I was 21 I flipped a car 7 times going 60 on a highway and after seeing how that belt let me walk away from that with a few pieces of glass in my hair I've always been a very strong advocate for wearing the belt when it is equipped. Roll over protection is rated strong enough to protect you in a rollover from a standstill if you can stay in the seat.

Awesome video, as usual. I keep thinking everytime I see this kind of job, it would be nice to have a quick visual comparison before/after at the end of the video. It surely be very satisfying :P
