I would suggest two other things for the shop. 1. Once you get the rest of the wall completed, look at acoustic panels for the wall to help with echoing in the shop, it will also help with your future surround sound system. If you dont want to do panels, canvas posters will also work. 2. For your window where your coffe cafe is gona be, look at getting shades for the window, but i would suggest looking into a dual shade system. What i mean is one shade that is a light diffuser. That is nice for when you want to have light coming in but so it doesnt ovet expose for video purposes and its just nice in general, then also a regular shade, or you can go big and get a blackout shade. Love the progress and succes Jack!! Inspiring!!! Whens the truck meet your gona have at LRA again this year??

I am a heavy duty mechanic, and I use Snap-On, but then again, I use my tools every single day. Now, for tool organization, check out Olsa Tools on Amazon. You can pick up a socket organizer set(6, 3 metric, 3 SAE ~ 1/4, 3/8, 1/2) for something around 75 bucks Canadian. They also make plier racks, screwdriver holsters, etc.. Air tools, if you want to go that route, AirCat is amazing. Some of the most powerful air tools are offered by them, and all at a very reasonable cost. I have a 1/2" Aircat and it out performs my 1/2" Ingersoll Rand(which took only 1 whole day to start by passing air). Hand tools, go and check out Tekton, I have seen many videos on here that have people comparing Tekton to Snap-On. They seem well built for what they are, I personally do not know how they would last being used every single day, but for a fellow like yourself, who may only pull wrenches every other day, they should hold up. Ratchets, get yourself some high tooth count ratchets, I am talking no less than 90 teeth. Sure, they will cost a little more compared to the lower tooth count ratchets, but that one time you cannot get a click on the ratchet, you'll kick yourself in the ass for not having a higher tooth count. There have been times that I have been under the hood of an E550 dealing with a turbo job, and the lack of room, has justified the high tooth count ratchets. Plus, they feel nicer. Good luck, and if you have any questions, I can do my best at helping you out.

Jack i work at Best Buy as a installer. If the shop is gonna have WiFi and great WiFi my suggestion is to get sonos 1’s. They are little speakers that connect to the sonos app through your phone and connect to the WiFi. All you need is a power outlet in each corner for the speakers because all they need is power. All four of them can be used as a single speaker for rooms or you can group them together. Look into sonos $200 for a speaker, but great sounds quality and won’t need a sub for it. If you want to go wired with a receiver you have to run speaker wires in all the corners to the receiver to the tv if you want tv sounds, but if you want the sonos to play from the tv that won’t work because you would have to buy a sonos soundbar for it that can be mounted to the tv with the proper brackets.

I personally would get a bigger compressor Home Depot $499 60 gallon tank. And I would put it in a corner room hard lines around the walls with quick couplers with the coil lines just feel like airing up tires and what not, and I would also hang The aerial from somewhere central location at the shop from the roof. Can’t wait to see the tool collection I have the rollaround cart had it for probably 8-9 years still working great. 18 months ago I bought a 54 inch cord the short single one and as my tools grow I can add side boxer. I think like most of us if we are enthusiast the shop is just part and parcel of it love the content please keep it coming love the shop stuff. Also I don’t know if you mentioned if you have exterior space to hold your trailers.

if you are needing impacts, go for Milwaukee fuel, I'm a diesel tech and I use them in everything, very few things a 1/2 can't break free, I'm sure on the pickups/cars there won't be much they can't do, eliminates the clutter of air hoses and cords for impacts, just a suggestion. A little pricey but definitely worth it. Plus they make hundreds of other tools that use the same battery style.

I DJ with my cousin on occasion. I would recommend JBL for the cheaper end of things with great quality. Most commercial stores use Sure Systems which is about the most expensive you could go. Best systems I can recommend. Also for welding I highly recommend Miller (what I personally use) or Lincoln are also great welders. I'd love a shout out if you decide to go with my recommendations. Enjoy the new shop! Can't wait for all the new content! Stay safe.

That compressor might be way louder than what you are willing to tolerate. Unless you keep it outside when in use. Take advantage of the 220 and get yourself a stationary 2 cycle. Run hard line on the back or two walls then reels off of that.

One thing with those 120 volt compressors is the CFM is very low. 5.1 CFM at 90 psi is technically enough to run a lot of air tools, but not to their full potential. If you plan on using paint guns, grinders, sanders, or air impacts, they are really gonna lack oompf with that compressor. I know you don't want to spend a whole lot of money, but just something to think about. I believe Lowe's sells a 60gallon Kobalt 2 stage compressor for $600. Not much more but youll get almost double the CFM at 90 psi and that'll be enough to run any air tool.

Miller multimatic 220 for the welder. For all the stuff you’ll be doing, it should be the last welder you’ll ever have to buy👍🏻

so if you dont want to buy all HF tools, tekton sockets from meijer ( or amazon ) are amazing and good warranty, i know plenty of people use them daily, sunex wrenches, ( or gearwrench), i use mine daily, ( diesel tech), also the welder from HF are really good for what you pay for them.
They said it’d be IMPOSSIBLE to run these leveled.. I beg to differ
