Hola my brother. Thanks for sharing a bit of the adventure with us. Looks like a blast. And looks like a really cool collection of records you found. Safe travels back my friend.

Hi Lance, I discovered your channel a few months ago. Then I’m watching Mazzy in LA and he visits your shop. Then I’m listening to back episodes of I’d Buy That For A Dollar and there you are. Ha. Anyway, I’m glad you have the courage and personal philosophy to speak your mind in these divided times. When I started my one hour daily radio show on MixCloud at the start of the pandemic (search John or Radio Hannibal) I decided I wasn’t going to try to be all things to all people and couch my opinions. And it’s really not a matter of Republican or Democrat, conservative or liberal, it’s about one despicable person. Keep on keeping on! Yeah, I’m a big collector, vinyl and CD. An audiophile, too. Used to sell MacIntosh equipment. Retired now.

I try to be everywhere, all the time! I try to separate business and politics generally, but this election was so incredibly stupefying I just couldn’t contain my disdain. No one here in Europe understands it either.

How do you get that many records home? Do you just stuff em in the suit case or do you ship them?

We ship almost all of our purchases. They’ll hit the port in Long Beach in a few months!

Horrendous day for the planet, I've known people unable to listen to music for months if not years after these types of events!Amsterdam is probably the most fascinating city I've ever been to, clean, civilised, charming.........yet also very dark and nasty. What were the prices like?, never dug there, way too stoned when I went to find a handle on a shop door let alone a vinyl record inside one.

@@lukeinthegrooves76It may have gone “smoothly”, but the end result may prove to be catastrophic. Only time will tell. Let’s touch base again in a year or so and see where we’re at then. @@NothingMatterzwhat we really need to do I make it easier for the everyday person to run for public office. You shouldn’t need millions of dollars. That’s technically not real democracy.
@NothingMatterz26 күн бұрын
@@Pluralofvinylisvinyls it is though. Whether we like it or not, we do have a democratic election system. The VP coming in is a US Marine veteran, working class background. With what’s facing NATO right now, that’s necessary. I’m not happy with what’s going on in my county, but I am also working in Europe right now providing logistical support for the Army and NATO countries. The situation in Ukraine is quite serious right now. This isn’t a time to be ideological. We have very real, potentially devastating problems at hand. I can’t stand DJT and many of the fake conservatives who see him as a god, but again, VERY SERIOUS PROBLEMS at hand.
