I knew you were a blessing when l came across your page. Right now I'm what you would say in my boxing stages. What I mean by that is. I've been in my hometown all my life. However the older I became it became evidence that I no longer wanted to retire here. I love to travel and thought about living the van life to save money towards my house. My son is a senior in high school, hoping to be the first Autism Veterinarian in our family. Well I knew it was time to shop for housing. I'm grateful for your support in this KZbin video, cause it allowed me to know the process since I've never owned my own home before. I waited on my dream house until I raised my children. I wanted to take care of their needs first, and still keep a roof over our heads. With that being said I hope it's not too late to get the show on the road. Dream House here I come. Thanks again for your help in getting me ready for the process, and with God, all things are possible.🙏🙏🤗

Hey Hun! It is never too late for you to go after the home of your dreams! God already has your house picked out for you now you just have to go out there & get it 🙏🏾 Congratulations about your son! That is going to be a huge accomplishment for Him, and I’m sure with all the hard work you have put into raising him, it’s time to treat yourself. I’m so glad you found this video helpful. I can’t wait to hear about your blessing 🙌🏾☺️

New subie. Unemployed at 51 I've been at the same job the last 19 years the reality hurts. Do not qualify for unemployment because I was off work the past year. So I will be in a fixed income and maybe look into.alternative income. I'm in Oklahoma City so howdie neighbor lol. I will have to go the habit for Humanity way. However from 10years ago to date the holmes are a very nice quality and you get so much with your mortgage. The perks are awesome. At 51 I have to start over its hard and scary but I will make it work. Welp thanks for the tips and so my 2 year journey begins But I'm here for the challenge and blessings ❤ ❤ ❤

Yes, you did good. I tell everyone if you can to buy a new home. Especially if you're single and not handy. New homes come with a warranty and you won't have to fix anything for many years.

Great information! Thanks for sharing. I guess my hang up with buying a home is location versus affordability. I’m hesitant with moving to the suburbs but I know money can stretch a bit further out there!
@FromHeadtoCurve5 жыл бұрын
No problem Hun! I'm glad you liked it. Definitely don't be afraid. It can be a bit cheaper in more rural areas as well, but usually they conform to some type of suburb and you're looking at the same issue. Research will definitely help in this situation. Check out what types of stores are in the neighborhood, and you can see the taxes online as well :)
@SheliaAHuggins5 жыл бұрын
Yep...affordability is relative. You have to determine what's most important for you. I've grew up in a small town and now live in a medium-sized city in NC. I live close to two highways and within running distance of downtown. I love it. It works for me. It's a much older house. I would prefer something newer...but I guess eventually I'll have to renovate lol!!!

I paid everything..closing cost and down payment 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️the market is so competitive right now in NJ. Paying the closing cost myself was the quickest way and made me a more competitive buyer but I WISHHHHHHHHHH I would have shopped around more to have the lender pay towards my down payment. I have a question, do you think buying Land Is more important than buying the house. I've heard that sometimes the land is separate. Could you comment on this?🤗
@FromHeadtoCurve5 жыл бұрын
Regarding real estate it depends. If you are building a custom home where you will be designing the floor plan of the home yourself, then purchasing land is pretty important. But if you’re going through a home builder who has set floor plans for you to choose from that cannot be adjusted, buying land first wouldn’t be important. Mostly because the home builder would already have set lots for you to choose from to build your home. Hopefully this answers your question.
