Incredible story. But I also want to note that the landscape around HGSOC has changed significantly in just the last few years. New treatments and drugs are now available that are absolute game changers in treating this type of OC, particularly for those who are BRCA+. It’s no longer a death sentence and many women now go on to live many years with either NED or manageable levels of disease that don’t progress.

Wow! Your story is amazing; thank you so much for sharing. It really resonates with me, as I’m planning to be in this 8%! I’m 10 months since diagnosis of High Grade Stage 3 seros epithelial ovarian cancer and my surgeon told me a couple of weeks ago that I should have died 3 months ago. Well, I’m glad to have proved him wrong and would love to meet him again at the 5 year mark. Interestingly I also declined chemo and decided to listen to what the cancer wanted to tell me. I made huge changes to my diet and mindset and did other natural therapies which are available here in Germany. I’m also retraining as a naturopathic Nutritionist and really want to help cancer patients to use nutrition to help them in their cancer journey. I’m also of the care bear generation! I loved seeing your visuals; that’s really appealing to me. Thank you so much again. Subscribed 👍🏼

8% survival rate at 5 years is completely false. Not sure where your doctor got their info. Congrats on being a survivor though!
