John Maher remains my second favorite rock drummer of all time, after Keith Moon. Diggle shreds, and Pete is heard here at his most bitter and briliant. What a fantastic song by the best of the best of the late 70s UK hard pop scene.

Great underrated band from the 1970s. Always been a huge fan since that great era of the late 1970s and early 1980s punk/pop fusion. Also, I grew up in the same area in the UK where the band were from. Actually it struck me, too, that this track was perhaps aimed as a 'love song' towards Howard Devoto who had recently left the Buzzcocks to form Magazine in 1978.
