Lol something like this happened with my sister Emily. She was 3 and we could not find her ANYWHERE. We spent hours looking all over the house, the neighbors houses, the backyard NOWHERE to be found. My mom even called the police. They come and moms giving them a description and pictures and one of the officers asks "is she a twin?" and mom says no. He says "well she's right there on the couch." My sisters just sitting there acting like she hadn't been missing the past few hours. Mom flips out and asked "where have you been???" And Emily just says napping. She was asleep behind my moms pillows on her bed and Emily was so tiny that it looked like the bed had been untouched.

Honestly, the dog is the creepiest part. He mentioned the dog rolled on its bad, but attempted to bite him when he got close. This means the dog is a evil mastermind. It lured him in by pretending it wanted a belly rub. Even he said he fell for it.
