Tunku Azizah is quite down-to-earth and humble. I remember watching a video where she drove past a local durian fruit seller and asked her driver to stop. She approached the seller who was TOTALLY oblivious as to who she was. She did not falter but carried on with the facade calling herself "kakak" (big sister in Malay). She exchanged playful banter with him before leaving. He was teased by his friends and family the next day for not knowing who she really was. Classic! 😅

The Ruler who puts the City Johore 1st can never put his beloved wife aside & takes another. As a Christian I strongly believe in True Partnership. He who cares for his People care for his only wife too. As both have something in common, compassion for the Johore Aging Society, l hope the Sultana can look into building more affordable nursing homes in outskirts. The Sultan's apartments along Lima Kedai can be converted to nursing homes in the near future. The row of shop on ground level can be converted to affordable clinics & physio centres where his people can enjoy their last years of life. Open a Cancer clinic too, where money generated from seniors can help in the management of these Senior Centres. Hope this can be brought to light & save us the trouble of traveling to Private KPJ hospitals where fees a beyond our means. Nothing is free, but within our families contribution something good can come out of this for the fast growing aging society outside JB HSA or a HNJ ( Hospital NusaJaya) can be added into our vicinity. We trust Our Beloved Sultana can raise this matter seriously for future Generations to come. A big Thank you & God bless this Southgate to Singapore, an MRT now in our Sultan's care & in line with his putting words into action. Gelang Patah is in real need for more speedy transport. It takes me 3 hours to switch 3 buses to HSA. Time wasted waiting for buses under the hot sun at this age of 75.

Her father in-law, Sultan Ahmad was the 7th king. Her husband, Sultan Abdullah was the 16th king, and her elder brother, Sultan Ibrahim now is reigning as the 17th king. Her son, Tengku Hassanal now is the crown prince of Pahang and when the time comes, he will become the king. Such an important queen/wife/daughter & mother in the Malaysian royal family. ​@@karbonfaiber tak pasti ianya terpakai di tempat lain juga..sedikit info kalau di Pahang sebab itu permaisuri Pahang sebelum2 ni bergelar Tengku Ampuan..bukannya Sultanah seperti Almarhumah Tengku Ampuan Raja Fatimah (nenda sultan Phg sekarang)..kemudian Almarhumah Tengku Ampuan Afzan (bonda Sultan Phg sekarang)..Manakala permaisuri sebelum ini iaitu bonda tiri Sultan Abdullah memakai gelaran Sultanah Hjh Kalsom kerana beliau bukan berdarah raja. 😊

Sebelum Sultanah Nur Zahirah sebagai Sultanah Terengganu, ada Almarhumah Tengku Ampuan Bariah sebagai Tengku Ampuan Besar Terengganu (Sultan Terengganu masa tu ialah Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah) Sultanah Nur Zahirah asalnya rakyat biasa manakala Almarhumah Tengku Ampuan Bariah berdarah raja.
