@hellboy01892 ай бұрын
Society is fucked up and that’s because of 1) individualism, capitalism, consumerism and materialism making you focus on wrong targets that you can’t reach and won’t really make you happy and 2) there is a huge gap between what both you and society expects from you and what you can realistically achieve. It’s even more conplicate than that but at the end I see that, at least in my country, the happiest people living a meaningful life are those working blue collar jobs since they were young and whose family constantly supported them since there were children. Those like me, having family and parents constantly blaming and putting pressure on them, who graduated in college, had to make it on their own and are overqualified in their job are often not very happy. The family you come from plays a huge role on how confident and happy you will be as an adult and on how successful you will feel.

I don’t care who you are and what your circumstances are. Life is what you make it. My wife proves it. Drug addict mom and drunk/abusive dad. Still is successful at 40 and that’s with wasting a decade trying to fix her family which is not fixable. No excuses. Work and do something about it or stat in depression. That’s it. I’ve met people in wheelchairs who still accomplish and succeed.

Life is very short, and very precious. Be kind, be considerate, but not to the point where people can use it against you. Remove negative people from your life, they will simply drag you down with their drama. Find pleasure in the little things. Looking at my generation all married couples 20-40 are miserable, women do not want to be mothers to their kids or wives to their husband's its awful! Gents please stay single and be content!

Year after year my life gets worse. Too many wrong decisions. It seems like I am born to follow, because every time I try to lead, everything falls apart. Most of my dreams are lost. Ones that aren't yet will be in 10 to 15 years... What keeps me alive is that I have a wife that mostly supports me, kids that love me and a roof over our heads. Yet I fear for the future of my beloved ones. We live, we learn, we experience, we craft, we work... Yet what is the point of all this when everything will turn into dust? Life is just a rat race... A struggle to survive, but no one will survive anyway... We will all die consequently.

Unless your parents were both perverted, anti social, sadistic sociopaths. Then it is their fault. At age 35, you realize - whoever’s responsibility it is, that’s who’s responsibility it is. You take responsibility for what is yours, and stop taking responsibility for what isn’t. This video is full of bumper sticker rhetoric. Likely from someone who was spoiled growing up, but in some way thinks he/she “toughed it out”, looking for unwarranted appreciation. Thats called narcissism.
