I love how honest, to the point but still very thought through this review was. I feel like a lot of vr content creators embellish or don't give specific criticism either because they are getting paid or want vr to do well regardless of the game not being good and I've spent money and felt let down a lot as a result which overall I think hurts vr more. I do get eager for new vr games but a game not living up to its concept and skipping it is less disappointing than getting excited, spending money and being fully let down. Really appreciate your review, subscribed and looking forward to seeing more from you!

Same thought. The only vr channel I'm following is Vr grid and 6dofreviews. They are the only channels (that i'm aware of) that review games normally like an actual human being and doesn't act like hype-machine idiots with cringe and clickbait thumbnails. Kudos to both of these channels.

@@paperclip9558 Same here. I consider VR Grid and 6DOF the most reliable VR reviewers. I also like VR Gaming Podcast, they are the opposite of hype-machines, they sometimes whinge and nitpick too much (which is still way better than overhyping). I like like listening to them nevertheless.

I was hoping this was going to be a mixture of Cosmodread with Genotype which were both great. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have a good presentation nor gameplay. Thanks for the honest review, you saved me some money.

I played augmented empire a bit. Lots of xcom vibes with the combat. It's pretty easy so far, but the voice acting is solid and there is more depth to character upgrades than I expected. - Chris

Oh buddy, I'm putting a lot of hope in that "day 7 patch" for Quest! This game is just infuriating in so many ways currently. The biggest issue and most consistent issue is with blocking/parrying. There's an enemy that shows up in every fight that does a massive damage 3 hit combo over and over. Blocking or parrying him seems to work 1/10x, equating to a lot of starting over seeing as how 2 hits from him and you are DEAD! I've given up on fighting him straight up and just use the power move bs to beat him to a pulp. It kills the whole fun of the combat for me as it just doesn't function as stated and almost feels like they gave us the power move for enemies like him instead of tightening up their parry mechanic. Got excited after unlocking a "extended parry window" upgrade , good news now 2/10 tries ends in a block or parry!

Not even going to lie, i like this game better than i did Assassins Creed: Nexus... Sure the models are rough, but for all that it is, it does that well enough. Boot up QGO and crank res up to about 130% and it looks right in line with most other titles like it. TBH I've only played about 2.5hrs of Ember though, so maybe the back half falls off and sucks, but I'm interested to jump back in and find out!

I would skip any scifi games that exclusively only have 'bugs' or 'plants' as its enemy. Its the sign of lazy, uninspired, cashgrab work. Scifi has so many potential and if your team can only comes up of yet another crawling/flying creatures as an idea for enemy, I would not even bother.
