Pretty sure they self dip when an oncoming car comes and goes back to high beam automatically

Coming from a truck driver who works exclusively at night, the BYD Seal headlights do not blind other drivers at all. Tesla on the other hand has the most garbage matrix/auto highbeam of any car ever conceived. Literally laugh every time I get blinded “Bet that’s a fucking Tesla” and fair enough it almost always is, truely terrible.

Good to know that the Seal has far more better headlights than the Dolphin (and Atto 3). Still miss adaptive headlights from BYD. My former Mazda CX-5 from 2017 had them already.

It has the center spot which seems shifter slightly to the right. And up close there are the round edges (circles) of the lights, don't know if that is bothersome while driving, or you can't even see it from the driver's seat. So I would give the lights a 6/10.

I have a Seal, I don't notice the edges at all when driving, I'd give them a 7, would be a 10 if they had matrix and cornering
