Hopefully soon - we are working on getting one to the proving ground

@CarExpertAus please wait until you can get a production version if possible. I've got one ordered and really looking forward to your review before I'm 100% committed to it.

Unfortunately at this time of year people are scattered to all corners of the world and getting the team together is a challenge - bot we are working on something to keep the podcast more regular.

Fuel economy, fuel economy, fuel economy. That's what I want to know with the BYD Shark. Not the manufacturer claimed. What's does it do at 100kph on a GPS on a highway.

When we get one to the proving ground we will be sure to test it out and let you know.

There needs to be a discussion about both Nissan and Mitsubishi's financial viability. Nussan is now downsizing production, and I wonder how long they will last outside of their home market. Their faulty CVTs have destroyed Nissan's reputation.

Why does everyone bring up towing capacity on the Shark? I hjave never heard anyone discussing the Raptor the same way?
@CarExpertAusАй бұрын
Literally everybody complains about the Raptor's towing capacity.

The Qashqai in Aussie is the older model you are showing, the facelift has been released to my eyes its a bit ugly and looks like a Hyundai

Wait, Paul bagged out people in his BYD Shark review for people going to the "influencer event" especially for the failure to disclose the paid part, then you guys don't either ...ummm wtf?
@CarExpertAus19 күн бұрын
You may have missed the pinned comment in the video: "Hey everyone - sorry I just noticed there was a small section unintentionally cut out when we were trying to reduce the length of the video from the part where I discussed the request to attend in return for money. Just want to make it clear that the event BYD ran included both journalists and the influencer types. Some people attended purely as journalists in the same way we’d attend any other car launch, while others were paid to be there. Influencers (or anybody promoting a product in return for payment) are required to disclose a brand partnership if there is one in place: www.accc.gov.au/system/files/social-media-influencer-testimonials.pdf"

Same fuel economy in my 2.0 TDi 06 Golf. ePower is inefficient! Pure EV or series/parallel plug in hybrid much more efficent.
@CarExpertAusАй бұрын
The first smart phones were useless bricks, but technology improves with time. e-Power is a new technology to Nissan and they will improve it as time goes on. 5L/100km is still very efficient.
