Many if not most petrol one too can't go in like more 30cm of water. Why I say this, because I had a petrol 4 x 4 that got broken differential because water got in doing it, while I was thinking it was able to do it. It's the same with electrical one, they have a air bleeder too to not have differential air pressure.

But on the website JALOPNIK an article has been published (October 17, 2023) about an identical problem , but it concerns the Tesla Model Y: "Tesla Owner Charged $21,000 To Fix Rain-Damaged Battery". In that article there is a comments section with currently 73 comments. A question has been asked about insurance against water damage with regard to the battery. I recommend you check out that article and read the comments. Hopefully it helps you a little.
