Glock is the smartest designed gun in history, but these finger grooves on it are definitely the most stupid thing ever seen on a gun. Especially on G19.

I respectfully disagree. To me, the finger grooves are the 2nd dumbest thing. The dumbest thing is the hump...

@@Mightymerc1 I actually agree with you. The rear hump is the worst part on Glock, then humps in between fingers. I grind them off on my G19 because they are on wrong place. But the hump at rear is made to stay. 😤 Nobody did that part better than S&W M&P.

@@Mightymerc1 Oh, thank you very much for this link. This is very interesting approach and more likely the only way to get rid of this hump that don’t fit in a human hand. I am a S&W fan simply because their guns are made for people not for aliens, but living in a socialist state we can only get Shield gen1 which is a disaster gun too.

I like the finger grooves on my Gen3 17, it fits my hand real well. What I don't like is the texture in between them, I intend to sand those down some so that they're not so rough.

Agreed, great analogy. But... This pistol was never stock!! It was a parts gun from the beginning!! It started as a Stripped Glock 19 Gen3, just the polymer frame, empty!!! I got some OEM parts from Brownells, then the APEX Trigger and then picked up the upper parts from friends, Brownells, CDNN and Wilson Combat!! When I had all parts, slapped it together and had Marty inspect my work. I think I did good!! Eventually had Henry at Robar Customs take out the Finger Grooves.

OK you two - break it up! 😁. That's one of the benefits of the firearms sport, one can keep their firearms STOCK or modify it to their hearts content. I understand being an M&P fan boy, I guess I might be one. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. If Yamil wants to make or modify his own Glock, more power too him. Yamil, keep making great, short, informative videos. Gary, enjoy your M&Ps, I sure do!

EXACTLY!!! I'm NOT a Glock Fanboy, but I trust my life to one!! If I'm more of a 1911-A-Holic and a Garand-A-Holic.... I like the simplicity of the Glock, they are REALLY easy to work with and I can build one from parts, like I did this one. Marty the Gunsmith said I did a good job, that means the world to me!! I didn't screw this one up!! It is my EDC now.

I purchased a Stripped Lower for $40, put mostly OEM Parts, APEX Trigger, Purchased a Slide for a song, Purchased a SLM Barrel NEW on CDNN for $50 and spent money on Sights, got the Wilsons I wanted, so, no, I DID NOT GUT SHIT!!! Learn to listen before you make UN INFORMED statements that make you look foolish!!

@@yrsued Total cost that includes the purchase of the Glock also. But my argument is there are better pistols that do not need all that junk to keep up with your "Frankenstein Glock" as you call it. I am not bashing but a little criticism can go a long way ------ right. Another criticism, when you put videos out there and so be ready for criticism and not all criticism is going after you personally and so do not take it personally and take it as a learning point.I was just going with your Frankenstein comment as an ongoing joke that you mentioned with my own added comments.
