1.Reserve Bank of india (RBI) has always acted a vanguard in dealing with crisis situation .During these difficult times when the purchasing power of a comman man has gone down ,rbi has come up with some guildlines to address these problems 1) cutting down the repo rate by 40bps and bringing it down to 4% will help to infuse liquidity into the market by providing cheaper loans which in turn will raise the demand level 2)further increase in the loan moratorium period for next three months .this step will try to boost the loan bearers . moreover the loan would not be collected in one shot but in different terms . these emphatic steps would bring great amount of goodwill to the central bank .it is a result of responsive action after the feedback that they received from.ground level. However ,it can also bring about inflation in the market but for the time being to counter the impact of covid-19 these are prudent steps in a pro growth direction . 2.nepal is one of the neighbouring countries of india .both the nations share cordial relations and common geographical features. this is clear and evident from the open border between both countries .india provides port facility to nepal govt.as it is a landlocked country . we have also not leave them behind during some difficult times,like they have been provided with humanitarian grants when it has been hit by natural calamities . Nepali student everyyear get themselves employed in many sectors ,even they can be a part of indian army ( gorkha regiment) where they are given chance to display their valour in battlefields. However the tensions have escalated after india officially published its new map afyer art 370 was abrogated and when it included the kalapani. region in its territory and recently BRO constructed all weather road on lipulekh pass which would cut short KM journey by 3 days bringing it down to 2 days . kalapani acts as a strategic point for India as it acts a tri junction moreover it is a trading point between India and china .it is one of the colonial blunders under which the border was not clearly demarcated under the treaty of sugauli 1816 after the first anglo-nepal war in 1814 . However this issue can ve solved with talks by bringing nepal to the negotiating table.india also achieved this feat with bangladesh with whom we had martime and landlocked border dispute.so there is great need to take it seriously and resolve the matter politely.

1) answer:- Due to covid-19 Indian trades and businesses threatened, due to lockdown from march to yet..all businesses and trades closed they facing economic problem bcoz due to lockdown they have not any source of income. At this time for the relaxation and growth of economy RBI supporting to the consumer .. RBI has been at the forefront of India's fight against the economic impact of covid-19 pandemic,RBI cut repo rate by 40 basis point (4.4% to 4%). Due to cut in reporate , consumer can take easily loan from the bank and also they have sufficient tym to repay loans.

Answer 1. The Reserve Bank of India, has always been at the forefront whenever a crisis hits the country. The Central bank provides will all available methods to help ease the impact of any unfavourable condition on the country, the same has happened during this time of Covid-19 pandemic as well. A. RBI extended the Emi repayments time for the common man so that the Covid-19 crisis will not break the backbone of the common man. B. The central bank also laid out a set of measures to inject liquidity in the economy of the country by providing extra cash to Banks and Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFC) C. The Reserve bank also cut the repo rate twice considering the situation that has risen due to the pandemic. It will help ease in loan repayments for the common man as well as for loan providing by the banks. The Reserve bank of India, has always been the one to rely on whenever India faces unfavourable times. 2. India and Nepal, are two ever ancient civilisations that border each other. The two have always shared an allied relationship with each other. But both countries have their issues that they disagree on, one of which is the border dispute between the two, which is a Colonial relic of British empire. Nepal, in their new map has included three territories controlled and maintained by Indian into their map, the main one being Lipulekh, which hold the strategic Lipulek pass that is used by Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims. This issue has been recently back as Border Road Organisation (BRO) of India has constructed a new strategic road in the Lipulekh area which will considerably reduce the time taken for pilgrims for Kailash Mansarovar yatra. The two countries should not let this border crisis escalated into a military one or even a face off as both are allies and share common heritage. The options which can be taken up by both countries can be- a. Taking in consideration the recommendations of Nepal-India technical level Joint boundary working group b. Diplomatically solving the issue together, undermining the role of any other foreign power except the two. The two countries which have shared same heritage and very ancient civilisations should not fight on such issue and should go hand in hand on the path cordial development.

As the whole world is dealing with the pandemic we are facing hostility of pur neighborhood we have seen crisis emerging on LAC and then provoking statement from nepals pm mr.oli india shares cordial relationship with nepal in terms or cumutre heritage and people to people relationship, there is mechanism which facilitates free movement of trade and people across the border and many a times india lend a helping hand to nepal in dealing with uncertain calamities like earthquake india offered help in terms of money and manpower, nepal is a landlocked country india help it getting the resources from and access to sea ports , however despite all this we have a standing dispute of border mainly because of the blunders committed by our colonel masters due to which we are suffering and which puts a crack in our strong relationship with nepal. There are few points which could be kept while formulating policies with respect to nepal so as to hold it as a startegic ally of india. 1.line of credit as help to nepal to help it in dealing with the crisis. 2.hold diplomatic talks at higher level to bring down the tention. 3.initiatives such as infrastructure development projects across passes which connects both so as to increase employment opportunity and people to people relationship.

Answer for the first question The covid 19 pandemic wreaked havoc most of the economies around the globe. The lockdown implemented by the govt.of India to tackle the pandemic had put a comma in the economic progress of the country. The RBI has been in the forefront of India's counterattack against the pandemic by implementing proactive measures to revive the exacerbated economic condition of India. The Monetary Policy Committee under the aegis of RBI clamped down the repo rate by 40 basepoints and now it's down to 4% from 4.4%. Repo rates are rates at which the central bank of a country lends money to commercial banks in the events of any shortfall of funds. So the reduction in repo rate is considered as a prudent measure because it decreases the cost of borrowing by the banks and can provide cheap loans. Contemporary the liquidity is also increased thus acts as a catalyst for the resuscitation of economy. As a result of the LockDown the top 6 industrial states which contributes about 60% of the total industrial production are in a state of ignominy. In order to reimburse these industries and many others the RBI took an accommodative stand. For the past one year the GDP of the country is in a state of Holocaust due to the wrong economic policies, demonetization and the poor establishment of GST. To prevent further amalgamation of downfall RBI had already reduced the repo rate and increased the bank's group exposure from 25%-30% , which encourage the banks to give loans to corporates. The extension of the loan moratorium to further 3 months decreases the insolvency burden of the loan payer. In the first phase of moratorium the most benefited was the commercial borrowers not the retail borrowers. But the second phase euphemistically handled this situation. Moratorium doesn't meant a complete suspension of loan repayment,only the principle amount is deffered but the interest will be amalgamated. RBI also suggested that the accumulated interest is not a one shot pay and it's convert to a term. So these egilitarian measure shows that RBI shows responsibility for the feedback from the ground level and shows empathy to the loan payers.

Answer to 2 question: India and Nepal have close relationship and some treaties. Since couple of months india and nepal are getting disputes about border issues. India and nepal have kalapani and sustha border disputes. However India intitated Liphulekh road to reach the manasasarovar however Liphulekh road is passing through kalapani. However on one hand nepal claims that kalapani is a part of nepal but India denies statement of nepal, India says kalapani is part of India. Due to those disputes relationship between both of countries can go to bad zones, however India has intitated projects in nepal since couple of years, during this period china influences the nepal against India, so both countries should be aware about their relationships what they had since historical time . Already nepal called upon negotiations about kalapani, India said that we can together after covid -19 crisis. India and nepal have to resolve disputes with peace talk, this Peace talks can save the relationships between both conteries.

India nd Nepal the two countries in South Asia share very close and cordial relations since 1950 with the treaty of indo nepal treaty of peace and friendships, characterized by open border nd deep rooted people to people contacts of kinship nd culture. But the recent incidents show this unique and spcl relationship is threatened due to the ongoing border dispute over the kalapani nd lipu lekh pass and susta village. These border flare ups should not be allowed to escalate into a full blown crisis because: ‌For INDIA, NEPAL willingly acted as a strategic buffer for India against the expansionist. tendency of China in Himalayan region. ‌To Nepal, India has provided 1. Humanitarian assistance in the time of crisis 2. Assistant in its development 3. Investment in infrastructure 4. Given Nepal access to it's ports. So both the countries' should take mutual responsibility to resolve these issues through peaceful negotiation. INDIA being a responsible major power understand the 1 Nepal's concern 2 respect the pride they hold in their sovereignty 3. Initiate diplomatic dialogue with the Nepal's counterpart 4. Remove the suspicions of political party about the interference of India in their politics ‌Nepal on the other hand should 1. Restrain from making controversial statements which give rise the anti India sentiments 2. Should not act on the behest of China 3. Understand the role and support India has provided in it's development 4. Try to resolve the issue through bilateral negotiation. To resolve these long standing border disputes both the countries need to mutual respect each other's concerns nd take the responsibility to solve these issues through diplomatic dialogue between the countries.

RBI has increased liquidity in the market by giving substantial amount of credit gurantee scheme which helps to breathe people working agrarian sectors,street vendors. It also boosts bank to give loans to NBFCs.cutting repo rate to give bank loans which follows bank also brings down lending rate which helps commercial borrowers,retail borrowers to get loans.extending time durations of EMIs in the name of moratorium helps people to relax when their job security is questionable. Its not about govt.report its all about ground reality. After GST small industries faced difficulties due to classified tax rates and after demonetisation bank felt shortage of liquidity due to currency change and no blak money has cams to India. The liquidity excahnged is somwhere equal to the previous liquidity.

Answer for question 1. The six-member Monetary policy committee of the RBI has been very proactive in announcing the set of measures to buttress the economy from the COVID-19 fallout. Even before the onset of a pandemic, RBI was very much responsive to the needs of the Indian economy which was indicating the signs of slowing growth during the financial year 2019-20. It was this proactiveness and responsive behaviour to the feedback that the RBI is coming up with a new set of measures and providing economic relief to the citizens. 1. In the current set of measures taken by RBI, the repo rate has been reduced from 4.4 to 4.0 in order to infuse more liquidity into the market. Lending banks can now pass on this to their customers, and in a way, more money in the hands of the people can give them the power to spend more. 2. During lockdown 1.0, MPC had provided a loan moratorium of 3 months that will end in May. After assessing the ground reality and situation of the current economy, the RBI has decided to extend it further for 3 months i.e till August 2020. 3. Persons or entities that were opting for the loan moratorium had this great burden in their mind that once loan moratorium period is over, they have to pay the accumulated interest in one go. RBI has provided the opportunity to convert the interest on working capital to a term loan. 4. In order to push and avoid liquidity shortage to the corporate sector, RBI has increased the BANK's group exposure from 25.0 to 30.0. Conclusion: These set of measures definitely give a clear and conspicuous example that RBI is at the forefront to fight the economic impact of the COVID-19. The economic stimulus package announced by GoI worth Rs. 20 lakh crore package contains a major chunk of amount ~Rs.8 lakh crore package. Even after announcing such steep cuts and measures, RBI has still many instruments left in its arsenal and can fashion new one to take the headwinds of the COVID-19.
