1. Currently India is facing a reduction of 60%in exports due to the imposition of lockdown by countries across the globe in order to contain spread of COVID 19. The prospects for Indian export may be summarized as - 1. Further reduction if international standards of hygiene and sanitation are not followed. 2.Government may assign some amount of money to uplift the exports. As economic stimulus package recently announced by Indian government doesn't provide enough support to exports there appears vague in government's vision about exports. So immediate reconsideration is required to rectify the situation. Though India has allocated appreciable funds compared to other developing countries but immediate revival of economy is still doubtful . It is clear there GDP will certainly decrease but the extent of fall can't be exactly predicted.

Q: examine the prospect of India's exports in the backdrop of covid 19 pandemic nd the eco. Stimulus being provided by countries around the world? A: during this time of crisis , where the pandemic has given a great blow to each sector of the economy the exports of countries has taken a massive hit. India's export for the month of april shrank by a record 60.28%. Although India is an domestic demand driven economy, exports plays an important role, influencing the level of eco. Growth, employment nd BOP. ‌The prospect of India's exports in the backdrop :- COVID 19 Fall in indian exports by 60% due to Lockdowns in major markets for India goods such as USA, EU,China etc. Only 2 out of 30 biggest export goods registered positive growth. Although exports were falling before the pandemic broke out it has fallen drastically due to the lockdown across the world. Steps to be taken: 1: fresh policy ideas 1.1 direct support to export industry 2: major reforms announced in various sectors can 2.1 improve India's ease of doing business 2.2 improve mfg. Capabilities indirectly promote exports 3: cheaper nd easier loans provided to msme sector ( export oriented units) 4: loan facility of ₹15000 Cr to EXIM Bank of india Stimulus package. Announced by countries across the world. US has announced more than 2.5 trillion dollars as aid package 1: opportunity for India bcoz of increased demand exports rises 2. Increased investment also create opportunities for increasing exports. 3. Demand for very High level of hygiene nd sanitary requirements in exports of food nd medical items could act as a barrier to indian exports. The prospect for indian exports does not look bright in the near future there is a need of dedicated support policy for export units but the stimulus provided by countries across the world provide opportunities India should fully exploit the situation to increase its exports to balance out the negative effect the pandemic and lockdown has created on its exports.

India is home to several hundred languages. Most Indians speak a language belonging to the families of the Indo-Aryan branch of Indo-European (c. 77%), the Dravidian (c. 20.61%), the Austroasiatic (Munda) (c. 1.2%), or the Sino-Tibetan (c. 0.8%), with some languages of the Himalayas still unclassified. The SIL Ethnologue lists 415 living languages for India. People in only 12 out of 35 States (Figures are for undivided Andhra Pradesh) and Union Territories had overwhelmingly chosen Hindi as the first choice for communication. Among the rest, while a few chose Hindi as their second or third language of communication, a majority of them chose English, according to the results of the 2011 language Census released in 2018. About 43.63% of the total population said their mother tongue was Hindi.

India is battling with two problems right now. 1st is to save it's citizens from the corona virus and 2nd is it's grounding economy. If we talk about the Indian exports they started contracting last year but due to corona they are grounding low. Because of corona countries around the world there are huge loss of jobs this has decreased aggregate demand. Specialy southeast Asian nations where india exports. One more reason , due to which Indian exports are declining because countries now diversifying their imports and this has led high competition around exporting countries. Due to corona countries want to become self reliant in the supply of essential commodities this has led to protectinism. Now to get economy back on track countries are introducing huge economic stimulus packages as done by America and European union. These measures will increase aggregate demand and here opportunity lies in front of india to revive its economy and exports. To take advantage of this situation we need to work on 1 Setting high standards of hygiene and sanitation for our exports. 2. Providing incentives for MSME who are export oriented and providing export subsidies to such exports. 3. Increase our production to meet the demand in the post pandemic world.

Indias export also decreases 16 percent in april and garments textile it decreases to 91 percent in the month of april Whats is the reason for declinenig the export Due to lockdown spread of covid 19 pandemic global supply chains distrupted so there is no production of exports goods as in india hydrocloroquene is produceds on the higher level in indian but there is required active pharmaceuticals ingredient which is import from china but now no supply Self relience polcy also taken by the many countries not to dependent on other countries for the product produce in the country may also disrupt supply chains Hygien and sanitation measure also disrupt supply becuse of too much higher restriction by the developed countries which is dificult to fullfil by the developing countries Another reason not to spread of covid 19 its beleive that to import and export it may spread the disease more Protectionism another measure reason to fight against distortion of market Whats measures shoud be taken? Open the import and export market Lower the measure taken on basis of hygien and sanitation measure Open the supply chain of raw materials with the sanitary measures Liberalised the market also needed There is also needed to create a data sharing model for the cooperation and coordination amoung the globalised world There are diffrent measure taken in the stimuls package to provide more liquedity in the market for the msme because of its provide 25 percent export and have a labour entensive sector all globalised world have done so much work
