Well it's Saturday and the girlfriend wants me to hang some (very expensive) wallpaper. She asked me the other day if I could do it myself and I was like 'yeah, no problem'. Well the wallpaper has been delivered now and it's the day to get it on the wall. Bit nervous actually, so came here for some tutoring and moral support. Thanks Man! Liked and subscribed, even though I have no intention of ever hanging wallpaper again!

I had to immediately order wall murals on: http: //daisycorners.com/product-category/wall-art-decor/living-room-wall-art-decor/. I’m glad wallpaper is making a comeback. I had to smile when you said removing old wallpaper was the most miserable thing you can do. Lol it’s true! It comes off in teeny tiny little strips. @Papershields0019 ай бұрын
I’ve hung a lot of prepasted wallpapers professionally and there is no actual substantial difference between this material and standard paper when it comes to removal. “Sure Strip” is basically just a marketing gimmick. The biggest factor of how easy or hard the paper will be to remove is the prep work done before the install. The paper companies have absolutely no control over that. Premixed adhesives that you roll directly onto the wall are better in virtually every way for beginners.

Can I ask why you painters mate / caulk the top of ceiling and bottom of skirting after finishing , when caulk/painters mate is dry turns light grey when solid , just thinking it would look rather odd In UK /Scotland , caulk/ painters mate is put on before to seal skirting ,never after on feature wallpaper
@BYOTools4 жыл бұрын
Good question Paul and the only reason I do it after is because it cleans up the edge of the wallpaper. Looks MUCH better this way and it makes the wallpaper look more seamless. Hope that makes sense and hope you enjoyed the video.
