Just on the technique, is your line slack the whole time the plastic is on the drop? If you have no slack, will the tail have no action? Might be overthinking it but can't really find the answer anywhere

Sorry just a bit confused with your lure technique, you mention with the slim swimz your just lifting the rod tip and winding in the slack, but I am confused as to how your able to get the lure to the bottom if your winding in your slack line? wouldnt the lure be off the bottom once you wind in the slack?
@ByronTeaHill3 жыл бұрын
Hmmmnnn So if it’s on the bottom the line will bow. I wind up the slack line in the bow (maybe one turn) Lift the rod, the the lure swim, and wind in the slack so you’re in contact with the lure as it swims to the bottom agaib

@@ByronTeaHill thanks for your reply all good I think the bream I think im using too heavy jighead Im using 1/20, plus it doesnt help the bream are fed bread by the local residents lol. it would probably be easier if I had go pro footage so you could see exactly how I am doing the technique all good I will keep persisting so far I've got three bream on Zman grubz just taking along time lol, but persistence is key I will prevail thanks for the tip. tight lines :D
@Daniel-xc8nf3 жыл бұрын
@@ByronTeaHill Hey mate thanks I was winding in too much slack, once I tried just doing half a turn that makes the difference, cheers for replying. Tight lines 🎣

I’m curious why so many Australian fisherman use minnow hard baits so much of the time? I’m from the states (Florida) and rarely see them used.
@ByronTeaHill3 жыл бұрын
What do you guys mainly use in Florida? There’s a lot of bait here in Australia that look like minnows vs fat chubby fish
@stevestory84833 жыл бұрын
@@ByronTeaHill that makes sense I watch a couple other Aussie fisherman and always wondered that compared to a paddle tail thanks for the explanation:) id say a lot of paddle tails, crankbaits and swimbaits on the bass side. On salt side paddle tails and hard jerkbaits
