Madness....Camden Video Locations

A short video tracing some of the locations used in Madness videos (Mick Jenner)
About 18 months ago I was watching Divine Madness dvd collection. Something i've done dozens of times since its release in 2002. This time I thought I'd watch it with the commentary on. In between Barso complaing about, well most things, and Chas taking personal phone calls, Chris was actually coming out with some interesting details about the locations.
To my surprise, i'd passed by some of these places and not even realised it, despite visiting Camden regularly over 20 or more years . I immediately thought of going to these locations for some snap shots but then thought of a 'then & now' type video. Then I thought that it would genuinely be a useful video to other Madness fans who may wish to see where some of these iconic places were filmed and how to find them.

Pleased to say, I knew it all. :-) You can also see Islip Street, both the Junior School and the Play area in the flats, Peckwater from "House of Fun" as is the beginning outside Denyer House where Lee lived. All good.

Excellent video thanks, i popped in the dublin castle the other day while visting london and had a good chat with the landlord about madness and what they used to get up to in there, looked in the back room too.
