They played my 30th birthday! It was such a great show, they even recorded and released it! Ok, so they were going to play anyway.

Her. There's a video on here somewhere of a bit she did on the One Show talking about being the subject of the song. Very moving.

Still the nicest memories to share. They were very, very popular in Germany, too.

yesterday´s men and one better day are their greatest songs to me, just like the stranglers they developed creatively in an amazing way no one would have expected

Out of their tracks after Mike left "Wings of a Dove", and "Ghost Train" are good ones.

That was too short. I hope they got the royalties and residuals that were owed to them.

If the drummer's right about some of the band wanting to go in for the synth sound of the mid eighties it would have been godawful. I like a bit of synth pop but it wouldn't have suited Madness at all. If he means they wanted to replace the rhythm section it does seem a bit...brutal. Maybe it was more of a personalites clash and they'd split into camps...

Did they ever confirm why they were the only 1 Tone band out of all the other 2 Tone legends. mmm ????????????? You know what you are ...
