So i think u forgot to mention the Important role that sodium potassium pump plays to get back the normal distributions of Na and K across the membrane, so in the hyper polarization phase , the intercellular na concentration is higher than the extracellular na concentration and vice versa for the k conc , and this is an abnormal distribution of these ions , to get the normal concentrations back , the sodium potassium pump kicks 3 na ions outside and takes in 2 potassium ions , and that’s how we finally reach to the RMP again after de and re polarization
