This was my first ever Bama game. Great memories, and a great night. First game with both upper decks and the new logo package. And even though I've gotten to watch #22 and #3 for several years, as one who came-of-age in the late '90's, Shaun Alexander still stands as Bama's best back, in my mind.

As A Bama Fan for OVER 50 years--I wanta give a ROLL YOU TUBE!! I can't believe I had actually forgotten this game AND NOW "YOU TUBE the GREAT!!" is letting me see the WHOLE game. THESE are "the good old days". Mark, you deserved your Heisman, but Shaun had one coming , too. As DID TRENT!! They stoled Trent's.

My family went to this game while I was serving a two-year mission for the Mormon Church in Virginia. I was REALLY jealous. We're from Pensacola, and love SEC football. I love it when the Cougars come South. We have such rich football traditions down here and get to show my favorite team (BYU) how it's done! As a BYU fan, I'm grateful you uploaded this game, and even though BYU lost, we played well. BTW, Kevin Feterik, (our QB for this game) elicits eye-rolls and sighs to this day from BYU fans.

Coaching makes all the difference. Lavell Edwards and Norm Chow were one HECK of a coaching duo. They were able to take good players and kept them competitive against superior talent (like in this game). And when they had great players, they were able to take them to the top 10.

@greymoose1000 SEC is overrated, eh? In the last 15 years, the SEC has 9 national championships. In the last 10 years an SEC team has won the national championship 6 times.. and in the last 5 years, well, the SEC is 5 of 5.. I think you need to grab a dictionary and reread the definition of overrated, I don't think you understand the meaning of the word.

@TroySchoonover Haha, if Bama plays like they are capable of playing (not turning the ball over), they will not lose this year. LSU is over rated in my opinion.
