The BYU vs UTAH game is one of the nastiest rivalries I’ve seen. It’s called the Holy war. It’s always the most unpredictable game. And notoriously, players are almost always injured with season enders because of how intense everyone is playing. Luckily for byu it’s a 8pm game. There is a new saying going around where they are being called the “vampire cougs”. This is because every single night game they play, they play on a whole different and harder level than the daytime cougars.

Let me give you some religious culture guidance--some people find it hard to get us from the outside, but we are a hungry market with a lot of eyeballs, If you are talking about our team. We sell out the stadium, whether we are winning or losing, BUT ESPECIALLY THIS YEAR, WHEN WE ARE WINNING! We absolutely love our football, and we're used to people being really hostile because we're different. Most of us are so white that we make paper feel tan, but we know kind of what it's like to have people hate us for being a minority, even if it's not the kind people can see by looking at you. It's a different kind of discrimination than from having skin with more melanin in it (or, like any melanin, in my case --I'm mean, I'm uncomfortably PALE, brother,) but I've been jumped when the other kids at school found out what religion I was, been bullied for it, was even once fired because my boss was uncomfortable at finding out my religion. It's not to the level of anti-Semitism, but it's still pretty real, in some places, and we get made fun of on TV all the time. They made a whole Broadway show (Book of Mormon,) trolling us. Because of that, if you show us love, we freakin' love you back. BYU is always ignored and overlooked. Don't feel pressured to talk about God all the time, and don't feel too much pressure about changing your language. Many of us (like me) didn't grow up in Utah, and aren't too upset by swearing, but you will definitely get more dedicated viewers from us if you can avoid it. We "Mormons" (we're not offended by that name, but the real name is the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints, I know that's a mouthful, just say "the church") we're a little weird that we don't talk about things that are sacred to us a lot--we keep it personal, So we actually don't talk about God and Jesus all the time. We're very passionate about it, though! I definitely recommend making it out to a couple of games if you can, get a feel for our culture. We're a lot like Ted Lasso, just without swearing, to be honest. We've got a lot of love to give to anybody who is willing to take the time to talk to us. Thanks for loving on my team. As for the BYU-Utah game, it’s one of the bigger rivalries in the US, it’s called the Holy War, and something like 17 of the last 20 games have been decided by a score or less, it’s a crazy rivalry

Texas head coach, Utah Head coach, and Coach Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs are all BYU Players. The Stadium is named after their head coach Lavell Edwards. Taysom Hill was a BYU player. Fred Warner is also a BYU player, and Puka Nacua. There are many others but I figure those are the ones you'd know.

He says, "I don't want to make enemies." He didn't do that against Kansas State or SMU, but he did that with Baylor, Arizona, he did that with UCF.
