For the spod rod. Just cast it out, reel it in to where your rods are and then clip the line. Then reel in and cast again

I would say to start with Fishing Planet, because it’s free. And if you don’t like it because it’s too slow or too much work, get Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour. Both are great games, but Fishing Planet is gold for a free game- and I have a beginner series for it.
