Technically, Sungmin is the first to get married, but fans weren’t ready for that kind of news yet so he sadly became ostracized from group activities (by the fans and staff, not by the team members). Ryeowook is the second official member to marry (third if you include former members). I think both SuJu and ELF are at the point where we’re looking at the bigger picture: living our own lives but still maintaining that idol-fan relationship in a healthy manner. I mean, many older ELFs are bringing their babies to concerts, and the guys love it. It might encourage them to want a family of their own someday.

Interesting... I never found Heechul overly handsome at any age. I don't mean that insultingly at all. I think he's attractive, but has never been my type. What I LOVE about him is his personality and his constant ability to buck the very strict system in Korea that is still way too restrictive, in my opinion. I don't get the Idol culture there. It seems so toxic at every level, including with far too many fans. I don't envy Idols. Their lives are so controlled & their fans are often so fickle. One wrong move & they are destroyed. Heechul is the opposite. He was never one to stay inside of the lines, and that, not his looks, is what has endeared him to me.

Agreed. I find this true of a lot of men that are held up as the most handsome in Korea. Yes, they are obviously attractive, but I think as an American, I find "pretty boys" who could pass as women not a thing I'd be interested in. I go for the manly male look - not too buff, but the kind of guy who can work on a car engine & look super fine covered in dirt wearing some jeans...
