Do you ever open the vent in the cap so the engine will run better. The fuel will not go into the engine so easily once it draws a vacuum in the tank. Also, if you put a bottle of carb cleaner in your tank, it will help with deposits in carb. Especially if you run ethanol fuel. Hondas are known to gum up. I have two of them. About every 100 hours, replace spark plugs. My motors are 1994 , 30 years of running in cocoa,fl.

Thanks for the info! I always ran rec90 while she was mine, never had issues with the tanks having vacuum lock, they were both vented though.

@kentuckyfriedfishing I was talking about your small spare motor. Built-in tanks always have vents. There is a knob on gas cap on your little kicker.. have fun in your c- dory. I like a cabin on a boat, nothing worse than being out. Have a good day, and it rains. Wow, miserable being wet.

@@garynoll700 ahh! Gotcha! I always used the internal tank,had the hook up to go to the vessel tanks, never used it.

@@kentuckyfriedfishing Dude... Your merch site is.... Well, how can I be nice? It's weak. I can't order sizes? Or location to be sent. I'm in Thailand right now. And won't be back until 3rd week of Sept. So I've/we've got time to work it out. But.... I want to buy a hoodie upon my return... probably a few. Winter is coming. Thanks for the clip. Until I decide "where" I'm gonna live. Florida on a C-Dory or Thailand.... I have to live vicariously through clips like yours. I shared it with several friends.... Thanks. Brandy is so cool and well behaved. The boat ran great and you gave a lot of good looks. It helps me with my mental fabrications of the version I'm gonna construct. If you ever hit Jacksonville..... I got a hundred inshore spots. I tell you every secret I know... But most of my fishing is with lures and a trolling motor. But still, many of these spots can be fished with an anchor and are ....what we call "community holes" that are meant to be shared. My best spot? Unless you put a trolling motor on the front, would be useless to you. But.... if you do, I will tell all. Or put a Hobie kayak on top. That is a great way. Anchor and the use the Hobie for fishing. EXPENSIVE. But they're the best. Thanks again.

Is the 4horse mercury a short or long shaft? No issue’s clearing the trim tabs?

It’s a 25 inch if i remember correctly. The cav plate was level with the hull. Far away from tabs.
