草木トンネル工事記録 / Kusagi tunnel construction record

草木トンネル（くさぎトンネル）は、静岡県浜松市天竜区にある国道152号のトンネル。延長1,311 メートル、1992年竣工、1994年開通。トンネルの線形は逆S字の形をしている。
静岡・長野県境の青崩峠を迂回するため三遠南信自動車道（国道474号）の一部として先行供用された。しかし、建設に当たっては脆い地質と高圧帯水層に苦しみ、難工事となり、中央構造線をトンネルで貫くことの困難さを身をもって証明することになった。
2015年（平成27年）4月1日、トンネルは国道474号から国道152号に変更され、浜松市の管理となった。一般道路となった草木トンネルは国道152号から不通区間（青崩峠）を迂回する兵越林道へのバイパス機能や、地域の生活道路として活用されている。

Kusagi Tunnel is a tunnel on National Route 152 in Tenryu Ward, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Length 1,311 meters, completed in 1992, opened in 1994. The alignment of the tunnel is an inverted S shape.
It was put into service in advance as part of the Sanen Nanshin Expressway (National Route 474) in order to bypass Aokuzure Pass on the border between Shizuoka and Nagano prefectures. However, construction was difficult due to fragile geology and high-pressure aquifers, proving the difficulty of tunneling through the Median Tectonic Line.
On April 1, 2015 (Heisei 27), the tunnel was changed from Route 474 to Route 152 and came under the control of Hamamatsu City. The Kusagi Tunnel, which has become a general road, is used as a bypass function from National Route 152 to the Hyōgoe Forest Road, which bypasses the closed section (Aokuzure Pass), and as a community road in the area.
