There are a few videos of private lobbies of Japanese C-rank players but they're more like NA A rank in terms of skill so it's amusing to watch but not like our C rank at all.

@@preyingshark4878 Japanese ranked players are ALWAYS at least one or two ranks better than ranked western players. Then x rank jp at like 2010 is as hard as western 2210

On my very first ranked match, I thought we were still supposed to cover more ground than the other team, so I played like turf 😭 And the very first ranked mode I played was Clam Blitz so I was very confused, I saw clams on the ground and the baskets in the air and didn’t know what to do at all lol This video is a huge reminder of how I used to play a few years ago.

lol my first mode was also clam blitz. I was so confused. I did not know how to get a super clam, I did not know how to break there barrier or even toss clams. And I too was playing like turf war. Aaaaaah, the good old days. That was allready a year ago, and now I am on level 82. Still working on getting X in clam blitz, currently on s+7

as a C rank who only ever plays tower control, I was once running in circles with a tri-slosher on the tower for like 10 seconds just trying to splat eachother. I also have a clip of me falling off the map right as the match starts. however, I have gotten a bit smarter and learned to go in front of the tower and defend it when I need to, usually by distracting chargers/tri-stringers and being aggressive towards everyone LMAO

Hey Chara, why did you pick TC as your Smurf Splatlock? It seems like Rainmaker would be more interesting and see better player development.

I'm guessing because rainmaker is so volatile that it's a really hard mode to splatlocke when everything depends on the player holding the rainmaker. where-as TC still has the element of needing to push into enemy territory but it's more controllable and can be carried if needed or tc was just the mode chara decided on because it happened to be in rotation that day idk XD

I didn't really throw no, the games we lost were unintended, its very obvious I'm a smurf especially with the IGN. I just didn't play normally but pretty much every game I watched people we won on anyway. I just got caught off guard by the insta KO RM games genuinely for the first few matches. Outside of 2 losses everything else was from fake C Rank.

That's fair I do try to keep it to a minimum, and personally this was a rank I wanted to see if it had changed since my time in it for Splat 1. For S3 I only really plan to do the splatlocke for a smurf account

C rank hurts cause until rank A or even higher, you have to be lucky with your teammates hoping they’re slightly good otherwise it’s an instant 1 v 4. But other than that it’s still fun to mess around down there XD
