The incision is "hard" because it's scar tissue! It'll eventually not feel like anything at all and will be just a slight line... the stitches melt away and glue sounds way better than the staples I had lol 3 csections in 3 years here lol

I haven’t had a c section but I’m a nurse- look up scar mobilization once it’s healed. It’s super helpful for making sure nerve connections there reform in the right way. Lots of women have numbness and painful scar tissue there for years after a cesarean and scar mobilization is super duper helpful! Love to you guys! 🥰

I had staples in mine and while that sucked at the time, I'm kind of glad. But my scar is still very visible and quite sensitive. My mom gave birth to five babies in her life time all via c section, I was the fifth and while they were taking me out she went into a coma 🥺 she survived but I’ve always felt guilty about that, they told her she could not have anymore kids after that and that she’s lucky she survived. I’m so glad she is still here. 🙏🏼

Where I live is the only state in the U.S. that doesn’t have daylight savings time, so when the rest of the country has to change their clocks, we don’t change our clocks but we end up changing time zones! And I have that issue with getting in touch with some of my friends as well.

During all of my csections, especially my last, I felt so much pressure and tugging during it. I didn't feel cutting or anything but I felt pressure. So much pressure. My son's dad was talking about how scary it was to see me being jolted around on the table and in videos he took during my son's birth, you can hear me kind of groaning because I could feel it and it was sketching me out. It's a wild experience that's for sure! Also when I first got my spinal and laid back on the table my heart rate shot up to 182. I told them I felt like I was dying. I told the drs that I was dying. She said no youre not, you're safe. And the anesthesiologist told me he was going to give me some meds to help that. Csections are a trip.

This is something I thought of when you were talking about “Gary”. He might act “extra” sometimes cause there may be a supervisor or others around he might be impressing. I thought of this cause when I was working in retail (TJ Maxx lol) I would do by the book annoying things like the “ring sequence” and push the credit cards to customers that clearly are in a rush or have like one small item when a supervisor or manager was near. When they aren’t, I am more real and cool with the customers, less like a robot haha. You get in trouble if you don’t, so maybe “Gary” is looking for a promotion or acting for others/cameras? Annoying supervisors write you up for stupid small stuff you don’t do and I imagine security is a biggy. Just a thought! 😊 love you guys!

@@xxmiamxx okay, if someone does something and you laugh “so hard” but that person is not included in the laughing - in fact you’re laughing on a completely separate day in a different place in front of hundreds of thousands of people - how is that not laughing at someone? He’s not included in the joke, he is the joke. It’s totally unnecessary and mean. If I were him and I ever came across the podcast and found out these people were telling stories about me and laughing, I’d feel pretty bad about myself. I get that you like Colleen and Erik and you think they’re such great people - I think that for the most part they’re wonderful people as well - but that doesn’t mean they can’t ever be in the wrong and I think that it’s good to call attention to the places where maybe they could improve.

I feel that I, myself needs to relax! I suffer from depression and anxiety, I finally was brave enough to talk to my Doctor about medication. So with that said, I start my new meds today and my anxiety is through the roof!! Anyways watching your videos and podcasts always makes me feel better. The distraction keeps my mind busy for a minute which is nice. Love you guys 🥰 Also I’ve had C sections too (3) and my 9 month old was in the NICU for a month after birth. Stay strong and your doing great 😊

so 27 yrs later and my incision still gets soooo itchy sometimes..lol my scar is very long hip bone to hip bone because my baby was 10lb 7oz and his shoulder filled the opening lmao, it was like having a 3 month old coming out :O you are great colleen I love that you are so down to earth. many women need to hear the things you share :)
