I can’t imagine how hard it must’ve been to write this. It’s good that you’re making people aware of this,so people don’t feel alone with this issue. I’ve personally never really dealt with addiction problems but my grandma was an addict she stopped but it caused issues in the future. I never knew the addict side of my grandma. In fact I didn’t know until close to her death when I heard my mom talking about it. All I have of her our good memories and I’m grateful for that. She was a cheerful ray of sunshine no matter how hard life hit her. Her laugh was so contagious when you heard it you couldn’t help but join in. She loved to cook even if she wasn’t great at it. She spread love wherever she went. She taught me that no matter how hard life is there’s always a reason to smile and spread love.thank you for sharing this beautiful song.

I lost my sister in 2020 when she was giving birth to her son she was really bad addicted and her whole body swelled up to the point she new she was dying when she arrived at the hospital I told her everything would be okay and to let the nurses and doctors help her give birth safely and that next morning she gave birth and a few min after they got the baby out she was gone and heart stopped they tried to save her but they couldn’t and I think about her so often that it’s very painful 😭 😭
