these guys had the stages planned, and improvised the rest. it's no coincidence when masego hits the drum set or when fkj takes his keys solo, but within the stages it's improv. right off the bat fkj checks that the bass line works...if i had to bet, the guitar, bass, and sax melodies, along with the vocals, were set prior. don't wanna ruin the magic here, just explaining this musically. y'all need to check out some jazz fusion like Weather Report or Pieces of a Dream. It's definitely not improvised, they would have to know the notes each other are playing to keep the whole thing melodically sound. They're going back and forth but changing the melodies. Also the fact he has lyrics memorised and they know exactly where they are going to each instrument gives it away. The best Live performance I've ever seen but not improvised :P
