these guys had the stages planned, and improvised the rest. it's no coincidence when masego hits the drum set or when fkj takes his keys solo, but within the stages it's improv. right off the bat fkj checks that the bass line works...if i had to bet, the guitar, bass, and sax melodies, along with the vocals, were set prior. don't wanna ruin the magic here, just explaining this musically. y'all need to check out some jazz fusion like Weather Report or Pieces of a Dream. heard this song when i was 9, with my dad legit playing drums with it at like 11pm. two weeks into this videos postings, my dad and I spent hours just putting this song on repeat, in the car, in the house, even at his job whenever he had to take me there.
