Thank you ladies. I'm still eating the same delicious foods as before. Much of my weight in the past years was due to medication that I was taking to control some of diseases that I was born with. And I have been in remission from breast cancer for over three years. I have more time to exercise more now. :-)

I'm so happy to find you, I love Lao food but the last time a research for Lao food there was only one person and he was not constantly updating videos , and you my friend have so plenty of food, definitely I'll be cooking some of your recipies, I saw you have how to make the dry beef, omg... Was looking years for that recipe. I'm a Mexican here loving Lao food. 😍😍😍😍 just one comment about the msg, I heard is like poison for our body and not only that it make our metabolism very slow, is the number one enemy to loss weight? What do you about it, I see you eating it on every recipe of yours, I respect your ideas just a comment.

315clau I'm glad you found me too. I have about 5 years of videos for you to catch up :-) Yes, I use MSG in almost all my videos. I don't believe MSG is more dangerous than common salt. Also, my recipes yields lots of servings because I'm usually cooking for a party when I'm recording. When you break it down to just a single serving, the MSG is not much at all.

Hi Nana! I LOOOOVE LOOOOOVE watching you. Your delicious recipes and demonstration are so easy to follow. One question....What are the Sugar/Salt/MSG/Fish Sauce ratio for a 2 Gallon pot of water? I cant seem to get it right when making a meaty broth. Thanks!
@CookingwithNana7 жыл бұрын
Wow 2 gallons of water? Are you going to have a party for your city? You would need to times everything by 12.
@TTTVQP7 жыл бұрын
Maybe 2 gallon is a lot :-) i think 1 gallon. So sorry... What do you mean by, time everything by 12?
@CookingwithNana7 жыл бұрын
TTTVQP multiply by that number. If you 2 cups times 12 would be 24 cups. But if you are doing 1 gallon of water, then everything else times 6.

Do they sell padek at 99 ranch? Idk where to find it... Thanks!
@CookingwithNana7 жыл бұрын
Sae Kim yes, I think I’ve seen padek at 99 Ranch. If you can’t find the Pantai brand, they usually Vietnamese brand. They also sell at SF Market and Lion.
@CookingwithNana7 жыл бұрын
Sae Kim it would be in the same area as the clear fish sauce.

hi nana, is it 1/3 cup water or 1 and 1/3 cup of water?
@CookingwithNana7 жыл бұрын
S V I started with one and one-third cups of water. Then added some more at the end. You could also start with half the padek and try.
