I’m so conflicted. Part of me is very grateful for archeologists and historians finding this and showing us history. The other part of me wants these findings to be buried and left there forever to remain undisturbed.

She was not disturbed by historians, you can look up for what happened to her graves. Don’t disturb unmanaged graves is a rule for archeologists

So after the event done u going to put that in the grave right. I mean it disrespectful to dig up a person grave.
@kiryukazuma75084 жыл бұрын
What is the point. Its better to dig them all up to preserve as much heritage items and retrieve more evidences of civilization for studies research and future education. Leaving them in the ground will only just allow these items to rot away. Many times graves helped validate historical claims to history text records, give insights to how life was back then and provide new knowledge that was never known before. Not so much for ming qing tombs but anything before yuan will be super helpful

@@sweetpot8267 as you can see from this video, there were a group of troops lead by Su Dianying who sacked her mousoleum and robbed all the precious items including bunch of pearls once attached to the burial clothes. And this institution just tried their best to preserve what being left from the looting.
