Hi Ben, as an examiner for cambridge esol and a test-taker of C1 and C2 myself, it s great that you can cover all the prompts, but it is by no means a MUST!
@tothepointenglishwithben.2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Duong. Yes, I've learnt that recently. I was misinformed at the time of making the video. I still I think it's a good strategy to try not to spend too much time on one prompt but, as you say, it's not compulsory to cover all of them. I'm going to pin your comment, if that's ok with you.

@@sofiansorin3632 it went great, I finished reading in like 45min and use of english in 15 and then I had time to check everything. Writing I hope also went great I used inversions and 3. Conditional and present perfect continues. Listening was the last part I had and it was a little harder than usual because I did it after everything else and I had 0 concentration but I did listening fine as well. I was afraid of speaking the most, but you shouldn't be. You just go in there people who test you are very pleasent and just speak do not stop if you can't remember the word and it will be fine. Good luck!

How I would've described those pictures: Right off the bat, what strikes me most about those three images is that they all show some sort of military troops, or law inforcement officials, if you will. That's what they have in common. As for how they differ, I could almost rearrange them in a different order and it would make that pretty obvious. 1C woud be first, then 1A, followed by 1B. So like I said, they are military officials, but from different times. One from what looks like the middle age, one from the present, and one from (what people of the past assumed it would be like) the future. Naturally to us, those robots look more like walking cans of food and nothing like what we image they'll look like in the future. Thus, these are all action TV shows about the "fight" between good and evil, even though we know the line between these two opposing forces can be pretty thin and relative. In the one from our current times, for instance, I get a feeling the girl might have been wrongly arrested, for some reason.

@@tothepointenglishwithben. just expressed my surprise, can’t imagine an anatomy tutor teaching wrong stuff to medical students. How deluded she is if she genuinely believes she can teach English. Like, I believe that kids in public or private schools deserve a proper education, but of course, with unqualified teachers that’s not what they’ll get. I’ve seen that even in developing countries, teachers are actually “teachers”. I can even give her the benefit of the doubt and assume that she’s teaching kids in kindergarten, but, there is no such thing as people with proficiency level of b2 teaching those who have a1-a2 level, at least as far as I’m concerned.
