Today I will be taking out the C1 in star citizen, is this the best cargo all rounder, will this be the best low cargo, vice runner available, fast agile, has a decent amount of cargo, and has a tractor beam to boot, this has it all for a new cargo runner in star citizen

I originally pledged a Freelancer in 2018. The C1 has converted me fully. I am a big sucker for interiors, and would love to see what an updated Freelancer looks like, but the C1 is damn fun to fly and feels very homey! With the speed of drive and thrusters you may be to atmo and jumping before the pirates even realized you have taken off :') Brilliant ship, great job CIG!

Have the ship and its a superb all rounder, yet that fecking glare in quantum is a pain, what are CIG thinking?. Yet, on average the new breed of ships apart from the usual teething issues are such a pleasure to fly, and the handling is often solid. Spent aUEC 100,000+ on (C2 )salvage missions today, and all i got for my efforts were a handful of Neon/Distilled. The reports seem true

It is a really nice fly, I'm sort of glad the salvage was needed, it was in danger of killing of the actual salvage part itself (scrapping)

@@NoobsGamingSC Inspired by this video I just did three full runs in the C1. Bought at Nuen for all three, sold the 1st at Brios, bugged out selling there a 2nd time as I had company, so I sold that and the 3rd at Devlins. Loving the adrenaline rush and the ease of making the money! Thanks man!

Great video pal. Love the fact you said you were leaving your ramp open as you wouldn’t be hanging around long but still couldn’t resist the temptation to check for loot boxes! One tip with the new trespass system you don’t get notified when another player is on your ship. Also two of the C1’s weapons aren’t gimballed by default so auto will only be aiming half your guns. As for the C1 itself it looks great from the outside but for a new ship in the game the interior feels bland and outdated, especially compared to the likes of the Hull A. So few of the cockpit buttons actually function and only 2 mfds for the pilot is a pain too when those annoying enemy taunts appear in place of the target info. The tractor beam isn’t anywhere near as well implemented as it is on the Nomad and is especially fiddly for 32 scu boxes. I’ll agree with you though that the ship handles great and packs a decent punch to more than hold its own against the ai. I’m going to give it another try but I think I will be sticking with the Hull A as my go to cargo runner.

I loved the Hull A as a cargo runner, I found in Microtech the it was very fragile and blew over a lot. And was very heavy to get out of atoms in microtech, Lol I always cannot resist the red box lure, thank you for the kind words

When stealth was in the game it was effective only on certain ships with stealth hulls (eclipse, sabre, talon). Other ships with stealth components still had very long detection ranges. Not sure what it will be like when they bring stealth back, but I suspect unless they make a stealth hull version of a ship, then the stealth components won't make a big difference.

The cargo run was ok, I normaly make like 3 mill in an hour in a hard grint with at least one friend and 1 mill alone. The C1 itself is ok. I like it way more than the Cutlass (hate it) but the cargo is small for the size. AND AGAIN NO SIDE DOOR PLS CIG. The ship could have at least 96SCU with the space

I have a question i looted today several cargo boxes with C1 tractor beam, the first run was ok, i was able to sell all cargo at TDD. But the second round, i was not able to sell cargo at TDD or at a yard on wala. On the cargo was red lock sign. How can i solve the problem? Both TDD or Yard were looking for my cargo.

Generally if it has a red sign it is classed as stolen the only place to sell that may be grim hex

@@NoobsGamingSC How could it be stolen? It is from salvage mission. Is this a bug? I must see it before if it is stolen, not on the terminal the first time. The first salvage mission was ok. A friend in my party use the tractor beam from c1 and me sort the cargo with the multi tool. Second round we changed the roles. Perhabs this was the problem.

Yes it could be, they have sorted the part cargo thing out so it shouldn't have happened, but that was only a recent addition so may still have some bug, if he was still in the party as you sold it, if it was your ship and he moved the boxes then it is classing it as stolen, It shouldn't do that but seems like that's what ,may have happened@@Heindiabolo2008

I found that the time to kill is much shorter when firing fixed, that is ,non gimballed. When gimballed, you generally only have 2 guns on target at any one time.

I found FL 33 to be better than repeaters also. Repeaters fine against smaller ships. But they seem to lack the oomph for medium to heavy ships.

I run a Taurus. It's the Cutty Black upgrade ship.

I have the Taurus, for me if it's above 120 then you can get good cargo runs on normal cargo, below you are best of with vice runs and more risky

@@NoobsGamingSC Unless they change the ship dramatically, which we know they can, it's almost the perfect beginning ship. You can do those pesky bunkers with live turrets and casually mow them down. Start a trade circuit without worrying too much about pirates, if you know how to fly. It's a beast of a tank and 24 type 2 missiles makes most pvp players think twice. They may still attack, but they won't be getting out easy. Of course, that's just my opinion. GT

With NPCs, and contracts in the game significantly degraded in the new patch, I am going to have to move away from my normal game loops and take up freight using the C1. Will be looking into multi location stinging together cargo runs as my next game focus. don't look to run illegal runs, but may take out my A1 to randomly clear those sights at the end of the sessions.

@@NoobsGamingSC The only downsides to it are 1) the ground clearance means you should limit your landings to pads and not the ground, and 2) it's too sleek and pretty to haul cargo. But you know what that combination is perfect for? VIP charter flights. I am 100% buying an E1 when passenger missions get implemented.

Look at Origin ships for example, they are great lookers but useless. So might as well have some usefulness besides beeing a looker 😁

Spirit Ships look absolutely amazing but the stats are horrible, especially from the c1. It has the same Shield hp as the cutless black but its much bigger so it has a bigger hit box. Even the freelancer has more shield hp and also a turret like the cutless. Freelancer also has much more scu and is smaller than the c1 and the movement is much worse than the other ships. So all in one its completely useless in my eyes

Lot more hull hp and more agile. Also the engines don't blow up at the slightest graze of laser fire. I love the Cutlass but they're pretty balanced. Freelancers have better shields but fly like poop. May as well just run the Taurus if you want to use a max. I like all of them but the lancers need some updates

But the C1 is only ~2x as large a target when viewed from above, from front or side it's about the same as the Cutlass and freelancer. (And 2x is not twice the damage, nessisarilly). It also has about twice the hull HP as the Cutlass and Freelancer to compensate. If you're not using the turret (as single players currently aren't) it seems fairly decent.
