I'm making a c2c using Mandala yarn "Nifflers". I'm making each panel 16 blocks wide X 100 blocks long. It's approximately 10 inches wide X 72 inches long. I wanted it to chevron but I didn't know how. Thank you for showing me the way! I do appreciate it so much! Thank you! Happy crocheting 😊

That sounds awesome! I just published a new pattern using C2C and self-striping yarn too that you should check out. I used a Caron cake though which has a shorter stripe than mandala. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXashnmFgpeJl8k

I just started C2C, and you've answered my question about how to make a queen-size C2C blanket 😅😅❤

That was great. Thank you. I might first up just give it a go with a cake yarn and just let the colours flow.

That could turn out really cool!

Awe thank you! I've been waiting on equipment to be able to get a better view for these tutorials. This setup is still a little awkward for me to work with but I'll get used to it I'm sure over the next few videos!

I’m a newbie to your channel and I love it. The chevron is the point. Correct? I’m selecting my colors now. Thanks for sharing.❤

Yes, exactly the blanket pattern creates a "Chevron" effect. In this case, just one chevron but you could do multiple panels if you wanted that pattern to repeat across the width of the blanket.

Where is the chevron stitch this only shows the c2c
@craftinginthenight8 ай бұрын
This tutorial shows how to get a Chevron pattern using corner to corner (c2c). The whole blanket is worked in the c2c stitch.

What where's the Chevron?
@craftinginthenight2 ай бұрын
The Chevron pattern starts to emerge when you start working panel two.

Where is the chevron pattern very disappointed
@esmeraldagreen19924 ай бұрын
The stripes in the blanket create an overall chevron effect. Were you expecting a zigzag pattern or small individual chevrons?
@craftinginthenight2 ай бұрын
The Chevron pattern starts to appear once you start working panel two. If you are familiar with the corner to corner pattern already use the timestamps in the description to skip ahead to the second panel.

Disappointed.. no chevron pattern!

This is a c2c made one side at a time to make Chevron. While this does one, you could adapt the pattern to do multiple columns/panels if you prefer
@bev29354 ай бұрын
This is just a very basic C2C pattern. There is no Chevron.
@craftinginthenight2 ай бұрын
The first panel is a regular C2C, the second panel is where the chevron component starts but you are correct, it is just a way to apply the join as you go method of C2C to make a chevron pattern. Thank you for watching!
@creative27163 ай бұрын
I didn't see the chevron either. Boo.
@craftinginthenight2 ай бұрын
It's worked up in panels so you make the first side and then the second side the chevron starts to materialize so its a bit further in the video tutorial. If you are looking for a chevron pattern that materializes a little quicker check out this C2C tutorial that uses self-striping cakes to create the chevron effect. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXashnmFgpeJl8k The technique is similar to what I did in this blanket but there is no color changing required.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Which part seems to be confusing? I'd be happy to clarify as I write up the written instructions (I'm still working on them).
