Hello CorvetteHop, Nice job on the wiper door adjustment video and Thank You for making it. Another suggestion on the C3-1973 Corvette. Maybe a quick explanation on the left and right pull down switches and the knob in the middle all under the steering wheel. Thank You, Henry D'Amato from Central New York. Stay Safe

No need for a complete video on pull down/up switches. The rights side knob of course is for the Wiper door (showed in wiper video). Left side knob is for opening and closing the head lights. The center is to reset the odometer on the speedometer. Hop

Our 72 wipers work great, but the knobs under the dash for the wipers and the headlights seem to be locked solid. I'm afraid to force them, or can I?

I would be careful as it it may be old like mine. However, if you are like me I want everything working.

nice video but i found that these two bolts do not allow any adjustment at all and are simply the anchor points for the rear side of this bracket.

Could you explain the adjustment screw to striking plate a little better. Is loosening the screw(counterclockwise) keeping the wiper door further away from the windshield, and tightening the screw will allow the door to come closer to windshield and possibly hit it. In other words(if I have that right), will loosening the screw stop the door from coming back too far and hitting, or resting on the windshield? Thanks!!!

Is there a way to adjust the door laterally, ie. side to side? Mine rubs on one side and has a sizable gap on the other.

I'm still having trouble lowering my wiper door on one side. It is about a quarter inch higher than the other side. None of these adjustments seem to help that. Would appreciate any help anyone can provide! Thank you!

Look from inside the engine compartment. Against the firewall. Two 7/16 screws on each side. Most outwards

Check for binding on the left or right side near the edge close to the fender.

Sorry, it appears your wiper door is NOT adjusted properly. Please watch your video again. My '69 door doesn't line up like yours. All of my seams and spacing are absolutely perfect. Unless the video isn't showing things as they are, your door needs to go to the rear on the drivers side and definitely down on the passengers side. Please look again at your door and check to see if everything is lined up correctly. Thanks for the info.
