Idk why people hate these vettes. The c4 is responsible for how all corvettes look and run today. It was a MASSIVE improvement over the c3 in every way. People treat these cars like crap and its a real shame.

ive got 5 corvettes three C3s two C4s not everyone hates them im making a drag car out of a 74 ladder bar car and a 4 link in the 85 but tempted to 4 link the 96 with 502 bbc

The thing I like about C4's is the whole front end flips forward, giving you plenty of room to work on everything under that one piece of fiberglass, including the whole front suspension and motor. I wish my supercharged C5 had that option. That C4 LS3 swap came out beautiful!!!

Pulling the engine with the hood still on the car...that's a strong move! My hat is off to you. I wouldn't have the stones to do that.

That's how you do it on a C4. Taking the hood off is a nightmare due to the whole thing being fiberglass. The whole hood shifts, alignment is crazy, not to mention you risk cracking the hood, and it weighs a crazy amount.

I have a '94 vetted and I was debating on rebuilding the LT motor and preserving it to be original. But after hearing that beast I'm thinking an LS swap may be worth the work and investment. Awesome build great work.

I have a 1991 too. I would love to do an LS swap but later on. My Corvette has an original 16,560 miles right now. Bought it with 5,013 miles. But once I add ALOT more miles, then it'll be time. I'm so grateful for ALL the videos out there that show you the how to's of this procedure. Thank you so much. Beautiful Vette that you have and awesome LS.

So many questions. What accessory brackets did you use? Did you have to do any clearance work on the firewall or the k-member? What did you do for motor mounts, custom or did you buy them? It looks like you kept the windshield wiper motor, I've seen others have to remove it. Where did you mount the coil packs? NICE BUILD!

Great video…. Nice C4 I had two C4’s 1985 with the 4+3 then a 93 with a 6 speed stick back in the day. Noticed you mentioned that your putting in a LS3… that’s a great engine you’re installing but it’s not a LS3. My guess is it’s a 5.3L LS . Big giveaway is the knock sensor holes on the valley cover and the cathedral port heads. You have a third generation LS. Ether way it’s way better then the L98 . A stock 5.3 LS has about 100 hp 80 Foot pounds more torque and if you have a aluminum block, it’s a 114 Lb lighter then the L98 . Win win win situation. What transmission are you going to use? 👍

lol looks can be deceiving, definitely not a 5.3. It started off as a 6.0 but after a lot of machine work and a special rotating assembly. It has more displacement than a 6.2. The transmission is a 4l65e with billet internals and a nice stall converter.

I brought a C4,the very first model......(1984) with Targa top.... Its the best looking model in my opinion. I want to pull the engine and place CTSV engine and trans in it (6.2 liter with supercharger).....plus upgrade the inside....dashboard and all.....(PRO-TOURING) The car will be one of a kind.....Where are you located ??? and I need contact info.....I have work for you bro.
