To add to this, if you pipe the albedo into the opacity channel via a gradient node and set the black to a mid grey and push both sliders to almost meet, at around 75 percent along the gradient, you'll get some transparency in the cloth so that light can pass through n shit. Just loading maps into Diffuse and Normal channels is not really what a realistic octane shader Cloth tutorial is... Pretty useless...
