Thanks for the tut! How were you able to drop an object into the dope sheet without it (the object) having any keyframes?

Hi, thanks for the question. You can drop anything into the dope sheet. Which is handy if you want to bake simulation objects down to keyframes, or even add a special track like 'sound' to a Null Object. If you have 'Automatic' checked in the 'View' drop down menu you will see all the items in the object manager displayed in the dope sheet. Dope sheet functionality has changed over the years but we have always been able to bake simulation and mograph objects down into keyframes using this method.
