Thanks! Chin as a group has pretty good drivers. I felt comfortable with the other folks on track and pushed pretty hard. I would not have been as aggressive if I was out with another group besides Chin.

Thanks! Circuit Tools shows 2:05.09 with an optimal of 2:04.05 for that session... dipping into the 2:03s may be possible next time out.

That happens a lot coming out of Oak Tree. Folks see a Corvette in their mirrors on exit and maybe assume it's going to pull on them in a straight line, so they stay in it... no realizing they will need to lift to let an old C5 by on the straight :)

Thanks man. I'm pretty sure you were out at Fall Fest in the same run group as me when I put my C5 in the tire wall in the lower essess. Can't wait to get the car fixed and back on track.

I am happy with the AP brakes. I have struggled matching pads/tires but feel good about the Ferodo/Pirelli combo I have now. It’s possible to go plenty fast with the stock C5 brakes but you’ll spend a lot of time working on them to get max performance. Kits from the big names(AP, StopTech, Wilwood) take that hassle away.

Which pads have you landed on? I am putting on the same kit on at this time was going to go with the 3.12 pads and A7 Hoosier tires.

I am doing brakes al 4 corners. Any thoughts or ideas let me know.

I ended up with DS1.11. I went this direction as I had a ton of ABS activation with other pads. I just recently put a CP8350 kit on the rear too. Ferodo pads in the stock shape are just stupid expensive. Probably wouldn’t have switched to Ferodo if I hadn’t also upgraded the rears. I like that the 8350 kit can use stock C5 front rotors and that it uses the same pads front/back. Simplifies the spares setup.
