@HelimanZ06 The extra acceleration from 3rd is not worth complicating the entry to T10. 4th has more than enough torque to spin out there. If I were "racing" perhaps 3rd would help execute a pass into T11; but, even then exiting T10 is a risky place to initiate a pass.

I could help you go faster..... you have great car control and smooth hands, but you are turning in early at 5a and 7. Not only does this slow you down a bit, but those are the 2 most dangerous spots at VIR. David Farmer

I believe you should be in third gear entering turn 10.
