I have this game recorded on a cassette. (I got it when I was just 12 years old). I never knew we can buy original games cause they never offered us an original game into its original sealed package!!! I used to believe that that was the only way to get a game!!! Me and my friends innocently gave a virgin cassette or diskette to the guy from the computer store (here in Buenos Aires) to make the copy of the game and we chose it from a big list... The music on the c64 was fantastic and it always sounded like a real analog device. I still own my computer but It doesn't work. It must be fixed. 😢

@@jorgemartin5093 Jajaja me pasaba igual, aunque yo algunos juegos originales tuve (comprados en galerías del microcentro) como Ghostbusters, Decathlon o Frogger en formato cartucho etre otros; pero habían otros comercios mas chicos que vendían insumos y también como una especie de "copias originales" que venían grabados en un cassette con el logo del local onda "Corsario's Club" (ese era uno en los que yo los compraba); que tiempos tan hermosos, como extraño toda esa magia que hoy ya no encuentro de la misma forma ni en la Playstation ni en los juegos de PC actuales...

Some of the music tracks are completely different from the Amiga version D: The gameplay also seems much easier and less unforgiving.

Barry Leitch composed the Commodore 64 (SID) music, and the MS-DOS (Adlib) music, but David Whittaker composed the IBM music (also for MS-DOS)...And he composed the music for the Atari ST, and the Amiga. In my opinion, David Whittaker did a better job composing the fairground, ballerina, and garden music, but not the title screen, or the piano. I have played and beaten every weird dreams port...except for this one. I'm still a little puzzled with commodore 64 emulation, but not much with the Amiga, Atari ST, and DOS.

I believe Ive never beaten the girl in the garden with the ball....the movement to pick up the ball, toss it back and not getting eaten was quite hard to execute for me a couple of times in a row...

Definitely easier than the other versions. Hit detection is biased in your favour. Regardless a damn fine port, no missing screens and it still looks good.

I actually think the novella enclosed was the first book I ever read. I remember getting up to the keyboard and dying, constantly. It was just so dam impossible, no logic, just being 10 years old and having to memories the sequence, 1 key at a time - knowing my memory now I know that's impossible, but back then - ahh the wonder of youth, not realising I was a complete spazmo.
