This Swinging 16ths Funk Backing Track in C7 has a funky tight groove with Drums, Bass and Organ - perfect for working on your C mixolydian ideas! It is sparse and designed to get you practising in the groove on piano, keyboard, guitar, brass or sax. I have added a bit of structure to it so you can build the dynamics of your solo. Try moving where the open hh lands every 4 bars to give the ear a distraction from the repetition. Even putting it on the one can give a nice twist. As always, enjoy your tracks and grooves. Keep up the great work.

I had a lot of fun experimenting with this and I agree it does help create interest and ease the repetition without obvious drum fills all the time - thanks for your comment it will influence future tracks from here on out I reckon!
